Hot Chocolate would have been my choice as well.

None of the other colors really resonated with me, I wish they carried over the Hot Chocolate color instead of Light Coffee...
Congrats on placing your order. Let the waiting begin!

Yeah! Where from, if I can ask. I've been making the rounds (Sterling, Alexandria, Annapolis, and B'more) just to see colors - will eventually order from Alexandria. Still waiting to see Oxy Blue and Lt Coffee - ruled out all the dark colors.

I ordered from Alexandria. I made the rounds there three times so far, and checked on Sterling's website, but it didn't look like they had anything different. I would've liked to have seen the coffee in person too, but the color swath just didn't do anything for me. I didn't ask when one would be in, I think a silvers are on the way though.

Oxy Blue? Do you mean Oxford Green? They had one there a few weeks ago, I'm not sure if it was out on a test drive when I was there today or if its been sold.

We stopped by Alexandria this AM - not nearly the selection that they had last week. Countrymen seem to be selling well.

We saw a few today at Global MINI in Atlanta. We were thinking Surf Blue until DH saw it in person. While he liked it, he thinks we'll be sick of it in a year. Now he's thinking Oxford Green, Cosmic Blue or the White, with Yellow a maybe if he's feeling adventurous. They had a Cosmic on the floor and a Royal Grey on the lot. I really liked the Grey in person, but DH didn't so that's out. I have my PW/B which isn't going anywhere, so he gets to choose the color. I don't really care as long as it's a MINI.

Colors

Stopped by the dealership today and saw some colors.

Yellow, doesn't look so yellow, in the cloudy weather it looked lime green.
Black, classy of all the colors as the plastic molding are less noticealbe.
True Blue, not my kind of Blue.
Cosmic Blue, I like blue and this color is nice.
Royal Grey, this was my choice in colors and looks great with Anthracite Wheels as the flat black basically matches the moldings, this would be the case with any non-black colors.
White with Black roof/wheels, sportiest of the colors!

Thanks for your input MINIXb. I'm leaning toward the non-S right now. The dealership near my house will have a non-S for a test drive next weekend so I'll give it a try.

I'm thinking of getting a non-S with more options.

I test drove a non-S with the automatic. While not fast, it felt marginally faster than my 2006 Jetta TDi with 176,000 miles on it - and I had my 230 lb father and my 6'6" 265 lb brother in the car. I prefer the manual transmission. I want a CM in silver, black roof and stripes with anthracite wheels OR Green with white roof. I think the white roof would be good in the 108 degree days we see in the summer. My biggest decision is do I give up 7 miles per gallon from my current ride and go with the base engine or give up 10 miles per gallon and go with the s. They say gas will be $4 by Memorial day. If only I could order a diesel CM....

The only surf blue that I've seen was the little swatch at the dealer. For me it was the best color choice so I went with it, with black roof. I chose the lounge carbon black with beige color lines.

It's hard. None of the colors are a total shoe-in from the online swatches, and I fear there won't be many to view in the flesh at the dealer either. I think they only have the Cosmic Blue and the Royal Grey right now.

I'm hoping to see a Light Coffee/White, it's weirdly appealing. Otherwise I'll probably go safe with Crystal Silver or Royal Grey with black. Living in the south, dark colors are not the best idea.

As someone already said, wish I could just do Pepper White and Black again.

Of course, this all presupposes that I can actually bear to sell the '04 MCS. It's been a problem before.

LOL, I'm totally with you. I love my PW/B and luckily won't be selling it to get the CM. The CM is for my husband. He really likes my PW, actually he picked the color for me since I was having trouble deciding. I originally wanted British Racing Green but when I saw it in person, it wasn't what I always thought of as BRG so I was stumped. Hubby saw the PW and said it was classic so I went with it and haven't regretted it for one second. I saw the CM white today and did not like it all, so we'll be going with something else. Still haven't ordered...

Oh, where in the south are you?

Hey everybody! I was at the dealer today with my aunt and uncle who are looking at ordering a countryman and I have to say I like almost all the colors!

I saw an Oxford Green, Cosmic Blue, Light White, Black, and Royal Grey, True Blue, and Pure Red.

The Green is really dark when paired with a black roof, but looks similar to my R53 in BRG. Loved the Cosmic blue a lot! White with black and black wheels is really sporty looking! This is what my aunt is considering. The royal grey is great with a white top. The True blue, while a nice color it's not for me. Lastly, the Pure red is nice but i'm not sure about it!?!?

The Countryman is great! I love it more and more. I was able to drive a Cooper S FWD with automatic (my aunt can't drive stick). It was really big on the inside! The back seat is huge!

Clint

I was so hoping the "bright white" would turn out not to be, well, white. But oh well.

Sadly the spouse is not a Mini guy. He's happy that I'm happy, but he likes a larger sedan. part of the reason the CM is on the table. So that trips to the beach don't leave him utterly miserable. We have kids in giant car seats in the back, so he doesn't get to fully push back the seats and it makes him miserable.

I'm in Savannah, so off to Charleston for a looky loo.

I'm getting Cosmic Blue and since my 2007 S is Lightning Blue the CM will be Miniblue2. This will be my third - the first was a gold convertible with a green roof and she was Goldilocks.

Oxford Green w/ black roof, me too

I ordered mine with Oxford Green and black roof as well. It arrived in Baltimore on 1/14 and should be at the dealership and ready for me to pick up week after next. The Snow Event at my dealership yesterday was devoid of Oxford Green Minis, I did compare BRG with Oxford Green. I would have liked BRG but the Oxford Green is fine too. Has more blue in it and is darker. One of the more conservative Mini colors! I also like the Chili Red, but on a Countryman you can only get the True Red, which has more orange in it than Chili Red. Finally, I also like the Burnt Orange but that only comes on a Mini convertible, I think. That is probably Mini's most cutting edge color!

Any way, will post a few photos when I pick mine up...

When (if) I do get one, it will definitely be True Blue. Both my other MINIs have been Hyper Blue (2005 MCS and a 2006 MC Convertible) and I love bright blues. The Countryman has a lot of nice colors to choose from.

I still need to choose a roof color. I like black, but I think a body color roof would look nice too.

Yesterday I ordered the all 4 in surf blue with white top and mirrors. I had considered royal gray but thought it was to dark.

I'm in Damascus and close to ordering. Did you try to play the 3 area dealers off each other to get a better price?

Totally insane, but we made a run from DC to NJ/PA today. North Laurel NJ dealer had one of everything (except Lt Coffee) in stock. And in several varieties - inventory lists 30 or so. Also hit Otto's and the Main Line stores (only a couple in stock at each). I had narrowed it down to Pure Orange (Impure Red?) or True Blue but wanted to see at least Yellow and Surf. We're going to go with the Red. It's odd, but OK. Just can't see the $500 premium for a so-so metallic with no sparkle.

It seems that Mini of Mt Laurel is actually charging under retail for many of their Countryman models unless I am doing my math wrong.
