R60 So, what color did you pick?
Clubman? We really need to get a password on the R60 area so we can keep the riff raff out.
Sealy - Whom, as you may know, went with Pure Red.

I really, really liked the Oxford Green when I saw it in person. I saw a Cosmic Blue one today finally, and I ordered one in that color (white roof, chrome mirror caps, chrome trim). Green would have been great too.
If I'd ordered, I'd probably have gone for the Crystal Silver body/mirror and roof...but I was lucky enough to buy one about two weeks ago at MINI of Fairfield County from Fabrizio Reda...and she's an Oxford Green with a white top.
So many great color combination to choose from!

Silver...
My concerns coming out of the R57 was that I wanted a bigger car in practicality but not bigger looking. SO... I wanted to hide it with as much black possible.
From tint to the black top to the wheels and blackout lights
But wheres the mini fun in silver? So I had to add stripes. I found red ones. Did some jcw touches to the air ducts and mirror caps. I love detailing but as a new parent the silver really lets me get away with not cleaning as often.
other colors not making the cut rationale: So First, I came from r57 chili red, so I didnt want red again. Also didnt like the new red in comparison.
black is sharp if u can keep it clean and very visible scratches
white is sharp but also keeping it clean concerns
the yellow is cool but im afraid that when you try to sell that its a hit or miss.
the surf blue would be my if i were to do it all again color.

Pure Red.
When she first saw it, my wife described Pure Red as "tomato red". I got it anyway, but with a black roof. I was thinking about a white roof but decided that a black roof would bring out less of the orange as well as look better with the sunroof.
If I were to order again, I'd give more thought to white but this is my "midlife crisis car" (albeit a fairly practical one). I've owned too many blue or silver cars already and wanted something different. Cosmic Blue and Oxford Green were just too dark, especially when choosing a color during the dog days of summer.

So happy with my Cosmic Blue CMS
I am so happy with my decision to get the Cosmic Blue with white top/mirror caps and 18" White Turbo Fan wheels.
I get so many compliments on my color combinations and especially the wheels! Contrary to what people say, the white wheels are not hard to keep clean!

Car's not here yet, but I went with Pure Red w/ a white roof (including sun roof) and white sport stripes. I guess my car was also a sort of 'practical' mid-life crisis. I wanted something flashy at least. We also got the Pure Red color line, so it will be hard to nt notice the car is red anywhere you are. (Apart from the fact that it's pretty much orange, but that's just details...)
We thought about True Blue and also liked the looks of the White "Redline Edition" that they had in the showroom. But the TB was an extra $500 for metallic paint and all the extra red parts to make a Redline edition added up (the one in the showroom had a lot of expensive options we didn't want and few of the ones we did, so it wasn't a great fit apart from looking cool.)
The thing we really wanted was 17" white wheels, which for soe reason you could order with a Justa, but not with the S. we asked two dealers and both said no dice. I'm not sure I really believe them, but who knows. I may try to plastidip the black wheels we got, but since I don't really have anywhere to do it I probably won't. (We live in a Manhattan apartment, car will be parked in a garage a few blocks away, etc.)
Looking forward to getting to drive it soon!

I kept seeing the Pure red as a chopped up look where the parts disn't really go together. I tried the true blue and the combo or BL ov BL grew on me so I got it.
Don't regret it one bit. Everyone who see's it likes the color...

Sealy, who also notes that mold will grow on just about anything, as well.
I could not do that. Wow.
