R60 So, what color did you pick?
Can MA tell the name of the ship? My MA said he can't but I am skeptical as he doesn't really seem up on things.
Sealy, just want to say, I love Sealyham Terriers, awesome little dogs. We have GSDs(7
), 2 Australian Cattle dogs, and my one British dog is my Lancashire Heeler. You'd be surprised how many dogs I can fit into a MINI!

Just ordered my All4 this afternoon. Red with a black top, leatherette seats, 6-speed manual, chrome line exterior, adaptive xenons, no stripes, cold weather, premium, 18 inch chrome fan wheels. Opted for some things that are definitely luxury items - Connected with Nav, PDC, Alarm, Comfort Access, auto-dim rear view mirror, and more!

Did you opt for the sport suspension $500 option or not?
Hi Just joined the forum, as I ordered my Countryman last week. I requested an early June delivery though, so I could same some $$$ for the down payment. We ordered the Cosmic Blue with the black roof. The blue tends to look lighter when contrasting with the darker roof.
For those that are just starting to look at colors, Kenningtons and many others have helped us a lot in our choice NOT to go with Pure Red. My wife thought she really wanted a Pure Red car with white roof & stripes until I shared many comments on this forum. So we drove 3.5 hrs to see for ourselves. It was well worth the trip because we both felt like the Pure Red had too much orange for our liking.
I know this point has been emphasized throughout the forum, but just in case someone missed out.
Hope this helps.

It's not a matter of there being too much orange in the red, but too much red in the Pure Orange.
If you just don't have the juice in your heart to squeeze a Pure Orange, that's OK. Lots of other colors in the rainbow. We'll miss your over at our place, but feel free to visit . . .

I just saw the Surf Blue in person this weekend, and it is gorgeous. The color on the online selector tool doesn't do it justice - it's kind of an aquamarine color. My CM is going to be surf blue with the white top, with aftermarket white stripes of some type still TBD. Now I just have to come up with a name.

Not sure if you are into super heroes, but I've always thought Aquaman was hot.
I loved the surf blue color when I saw it and that's what I got. I think it has really cool depth and dimension to it. Sealy, like you mentioned it plays off the light really nicely.
I can't wait to see it in person with the black roof and polar beige headliner.

Well, I don't know who this Kenningtons is, but I'm sure he's a very nice fellow. However, when it comes to color, he's full of - - - well, lets be polite and say Light Coffee colored stuff.

You & everyone else who I have steered away from the horrendous so-called red color are welcome! There are some cars that look great in cerain colors. Ferraris in red, Porsches in silver, etc. etc. However, that lame excuse that Mini offers for its red is an abomination! The old one Chiili Red) was so nice- they messed up real bad when they decided to only offer a color so 'orangey'.
Pure Red? Nothing pure about it!
Sincerely,
Kenningtons.

Funny how we can accept a little impurity in our men/women, but not in our colors.
I'm still going for the Pure Orange. Critics be darned.
I haven't heard anything called an abomination since my mother-in-law from AL used it when she found out her son was dating a northerner. After 30 years, I still get an occasional Yankee comment.

Guilty if so!
I’m still a few months off before I can place an order. I have been checking out all the dealers in the So Cal area to look at different color combinations. I hate to say this, but I find most of the exterior color choices a compromise and same goes for the interior choices. The metallics seem to have no life till you get them into the bright sun light; and then some take on a different look in the sun, Cosmic blue seems to have a Purple look, Royal Grey a greenish cast and Absolute Black had a lot of gold fleck in it. I look at cars from some other manufacturers and the metallics are more vibrant: they also seem to offer better choices. Most all the dealers I have visited have the same two color combinations in stock, light White w/Black roof or Royal Grey w/Black roof. Can’t they be a little more creative? I know it’s seems to be popular, but why does half the cars in stock need to be the same color? Did see one in Pure Red w/Red roof and another in Light White w/White roof and I liked both better then than with the Black roof. I know some like the black trim look but it’s just not my style. I would like all black, but not a metallic black. I don’t understand why Mini does not offer it; they can paint the roof in black why not the rest of the car? I would like to see the Bright Yellow color on a car and asked all the dealers if they have one coming in. None, except on dealer, has even placed an order for a yellow car. The one dealer, Nick Alexander, told me a customer just picked up an ordered car in Bright Yellow and said it looked much better than he could have imagined.
Interior color choices are another peeve of mine. Mini has eight interior seat color options and four of them are all black (Cloth, Leatherette, Gravity and Lounge) and two others are black with colored lines (Tobacco or Red) in the seat inserts. So, if you want something other than black you have two choices, Polar Beige or Light Tobacco, both in leather but different style seats. The two seat options with the colored lines are kind of overpriced IMO at $1,000 for the seat option and another $250 (base Countryman) for the sport seats. The only leather on this option is a small part on each side of the seat insert. Why not just make it Leatherette and offer it as a no charge cloth option or at a reduced price? I like the lighter color of the Polar Beige interior and the look of the Lounge leather seats, but you can’t get Polar beige with lounge leather. I did see one car with Light Coffee Lounge Leather and the seats looked nice, but I thought it could use another color on the doors to break up all the black in the car. In the US Mini only offers carbon Black color line with the Light Coffee Lounge leather, but in the UK (using the online configurator) you can order Dark Tobacco or Polar Beige color line. Again why can’t they do this in the states? Would it not be just a matter of snapping in a different color door insert that they all ready make and stock? I have also noticed that the base countryman has a dark anthracite trim around the AC vents and the speedometer with dark silver rings on the doors and the “S” model is just the opposite with dark silver on the dash and dark anthracite rings on the doors; why not offer the choice to make it match? Mini claims over 10 million possible combinations; why not add a few more?

Itsmeagain:
Write to Mini. Seriously! If they get enough customer feedback, they'll listen. And tell them how crazy they are to offer a heated windshield in Canada but not in the US whilst you're at it!
I liked almost all of the 'old' mini colors. The new ones suck. Hence we ordered silver...
Cheers,
Paul.

We didn't order the heated windscreen, but it is weird that it can't be ordered in the US. It is part of our Visibility Package at $450. There are other options in the US that we can't get up here. Our sport seats in the Countryman are $450. Anyone have some 17" factory anthracite rims for sale?
