Yes, we really want to take some pictures of our Oxford Green Countryman real-time, too.

Now this will be very nice, you looking for Mid-January to be at MOL?

Noticed you went with the sport suspension, I thought the side roads in Wyoming were a bit 'rough'.

I keep reading about people ordering a red top - is that only on the coupe or clubman?

I'm also not finding a color that resonates with me, although I'll probably go with a body colored top to minimize the look of that roof along the c pillar....

The new Ice Blue looks pretty interesting, especially if it's a metallic.

Red top only on the Coupe, not even sure it is an option on the Clubman, unless you go all the way red.

I will have to see if the Countryman configurator is allowing any new colors. I suspect not.

We went white for a reason, better to get a nice top graphic.

Gotta love a cool roof graphic -
are you going to go with a custom design?

Congratulations eeyore!

This is the same color combo that's my top choice, or possibly Cosmic with black. They are both super classy.

Agreed. We were torn between Oxford Green and Cosmic Blue and ended up selecting Cosmic Blue with a White Roof. We LOVED it with the black roof too as it is very elegant, but preferred the more funky look that white roof provides. Can't go wrong either way.

we picked Cosmic Blue with a white roof. initially I wanted Surf Blue.

we happened to be in Portland for thanksgiving and stopped by Rasmussen MINI in Portland - when we walked into the showroom, there's a Cosmic Blue MCS ALL4 just sitting there, sparkling.

it looks fantastic with the white roof and black interior. so we went out to MINI of Concord this last weekend and placed our order.

can't wait.

no, seriously, can't wait. at all. and it's going to be a long wait, too :(

Fantastic selection! You've made a great choice. And I am not biased in any way...

I sat in that one too. It looked really great although I'll never get used to the white wheels. It was really great to sit in one having ordered mine a month earlier. Now every time I get in my car I sigh because I'd much rather be driving my new one...

I have white wheels on my MCS - and after visiting Rasmussen I was all "we should get white wheels on the Countryman". Then I remembered the third thing I tell everyone about my car: "I will never, ever, ever get white wheels again. they look fantastic when clean. They're usually clean for about 5 minutes..."

I'm excited about Cosmic Blue, I really like how dark and sparkly it is, I think setting it against a white roof should really "pop"

It's funny, every time I log in to the site, I'm hoping for news that your car has moved closer to you! (I can't wait to see pictures when it arrives)

Resurecting this old, old thread. Now that folks have started receiving and living with their Countrymen, has anyone gotten a Red - and how bad/good is it to live with? I've looked at 5 of them and they've been 5 different colors (colours?). Range has been from a just OK Red to a dull, listless orange. Had a salesperson tell me a test drive came back, handed in the keys and said it was a very nice car, but the neon orange color was terrible. The sales person was confused, but went out and looked. Sure enough, different day = different color. I really, really want a Red - but this is stressing me out.

The red just looked "off" to me as did the yellow. Surf blue was decent, but really only the metallics seemed to be okay in my taste (black and white were fine). Of course, I may have been influenced, because I saw all the negative comments here before I even saw a swatch and to be fair, haven't actually seen a car with the color...only the paint sample at the dealer.

It looked acceptable on line, OK in the book, and a little off on the wall sample. I even walked around and outside with it. Then I started seeing it in person and was WTF. My salesman ordered one for his wife and when it came in, they rejected it. Just wondering about real-life experiences.

Wife and I drove 1.5hrs to see a red countryman. Glad we did as we actually loved the white with black room and anthracite rims so that is what we ordered today. You really have to see the red in person to get a true perception of the color. It is unlike any red I have seen before on a car....sometimes it looks red, sometimes orange, sometimes in between.

I wanted a red one as well. Looking at pictures on the web it looked like it changed colors from red to orange. I would have pick Chili red in a heart beat if they offered it. Instead, I went with the Royal Grey and white roof.
