Thanks for the welcome... in checking 2wglobal I too am discharged! Incidently, I also was discharged at exactly 7:30, so either our MINI's were within a curb feelers distance from one another or 2wglobal likes to do things in big batches!

Either way wouldn't suprise me considering we will be on the same truck to Rasmussen Mini.

Now the craziness happens... I think this has to be the toughest part of the wait. impatient:impatient

Mine was discharged on the WW site as well...7:30. Sounds like they ran the batch alright!

 

My car was discharged from WW on the 28th and delivered on the 29th. Unfortunately, the OL still shows "en route" and my MA can't find my car anyplace. I hope that you guys have better luck than me.

I emailed my MA for a status update. I got reply that my ETA is on or around December 13th!!! That's right, next WEDNESDAY!!!... as in 5 days!!! So looks like things are a GO!!!

I called Rasmussen and my MA has the day off so I won't know if my MINI will be there at the same time as yours untill tomorrow!

OH MY GOD!!!!!!

I just called ASK-MINI because the OL still says its en route and the operator still says its awaiting a shipping vessel...even though it got off the tombarra. So they transferred me to a representative and he checked the status and told me that it was at exit point waiting to board a ship!!!!!!!!
My hopes were shot down, but then i told him about the W2 site and how it said it was unloaded, and he apologized!!
but still told me that id have to check with the dealer because they dont have any info on my car.
Just thought id share it.

 

I'm hoping their site is just crappy - mine was discharged from the Tombarra, according to the WW site, but is still 'en route' on the mini site, as well. At least, that's what I'm hoping. =)

 

Yay!!!!! My baby's safely home! Picked up today at Tom Bush Mini in Jacksonville. Everything went smoothly and the car is perfect. They didn't have my rubber floor mats in stock, but that was it. They said they'd mail them to me when they come in. My bouncing baby boy is perfection on wheels!!! Don't have any pics yet... been driving around since noon. Put on almost 150 miles already! I'll post some pics when I have time to take them. So many roads, so little time!
.....and they lived happily ever after.

Ok, people, I'm working on getting the pics up here. I can't seem to find the cable that connects my camera to the computer, but I know it's around here somewhere!

What a great weekend! Not only did I get to pick up my baby, but I just got to watch a successful shuttle launch, standing on the beach where I live. Just got back from the beach now. It really is amazing to watch those rockets go, especially at night. It's almost like fireworks only more awe-inspiring! Life's good, innit?

 

Just imagine! Windinmyhair out driving a new mini and watching once in a lifetime space shuttle launches instead of figuring out the digital camera and getting us pictures! What nerve!! lol

 

I'm thinking of joining 5280. Haven't gone on one of there rides yet but soon. Give me a call when you get your MINI. Just look in the yellow pages for the only portrait photographer in Edgewater, that's me. Identify yourself as Celtifrost from NAM.

I'm hoping that the delivery of your cars is as timely as your MA is quoting. As you know, mine was delivered to the port on the 28th and just yesterday the OL updated to say that it was at the VDC. My MA called me to let me know that the earliest delivery to me will be the 20th. I wondering what the holdup is and hoping that II didn't have any damage during transit.

My MA called left me a message today and said the car is in California (already knew that) and to call him about any dealer installed options I want to confirm. Last time I had a call like that on my first car it wasn't long before the car showed up. Hopefully next weekend at the latest!

I checked the OL and the source code is updated and shows and estiamted delivery date of 12/16/2006! Saturday!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.
