Thanks... they are the OEM Checkmate Flame Spoke Wheels. As for the rain... I feel your pain. My car has been in the garage for 3 days now until today because of work.

There is also a nice amount of space on the shelf. it is pretty deep and waay down low so you really cant see something that is on the shelf from outside the car.
Good to hear that it's worth it. I have to pick one up.
Oh BTW... time to update your sig

Sorry... I hope I wasn't sounding like a pest.
So is Tommy any good? What are you getting and what is it costing you. I know Tim at 503motoring.com and will most likely go there.

I wasn't being sarcastic, I am just absent minded, so I meant what I said about appreciating the reminder! I may be a 16 year IT vetran, but This is the first Forum I have ever been motivated to post more then one sentance on, so that makes me a little rusty. I am just glad most of the folks here are patient and as enthusastic about their cars as I am!(yourself included, RoyalJCW)

As for Tommy's window tinting, I did some research here in the forums and Tommy's was highly reccomended. they are a little high at $225 but I figured it was worth it for the lifetime warranty and the time they spend on the install. We shal see how it turns out, but I suspect that they will get it right the first time since they probably don't want me to come back and bother them or gripe about them on this forum...

I had my windows done at the dealer. The price was a little higher, but they turned out great. I hope that you are going the full legal 35. Any lighter is really not worth the money!

Looks and works great! Easy install Just be sure you have a torque wrench and a 7mm Allen Socket/Wrench.

Yep, went for the full 35%. it looks awesome! NOW I have to give her a bath so she looks photogenic! Tommys did a terrific job and seemed to know their way around a cooper connvertable! they figured out how to unlach the back of the top so they could get to the back window easier. The work is high precision and you can tell these guys are real pros. Highly reccomended! the only bummer is you have to wait 48hours before putting the windows down... too bad I missed a convertable day because of it.

I will post pics as soon as the car is clean enough to photograph...

I totally agree!

Excuse: it was 35 degrees out and now it is pouring rain... as soon as it stops raining and the car is clean again I will put the top down and take some more pics! (maybe I need to find a dry underpass or something)

Besides this pic was specifically to show of the tint, you cant see the tint with the top down!

Excuses excuses! Hahahaha just kidding!
I think cabrios look silly with the top down and the windows up. And besides with your Astro Black paint and black top up and window tint, you look extra mysterious!

Its kind of exciting going from closed in blacked out mystery to full on top down wide open... its a real contrast!
