Since you are on the west coast you most likely will be on the TOMBARRA that arrives and departs on November 16th.

2miniacs, I think we must about be twins! My Sgt Pepper was started on the 10th and should be about ready for paint soon, so we can't be too far apart. My scheduled completion date is the 21st, so maybe we'll get on the same ship. Mine is east coast, how 'bout you?

Trojan, east coast here also. I think mine started on the 10th....guess the convertibles take a little longer. Good possibility ours will travel over together.

For those that are on the TOMBARRA. It arrives into Southampton @ 6:30A UK time then departs @ 6PM the same day... (Nov. 16th). Talk about a fast port visit. Here is the schedule (Yes I'm a a geek!):

Thanks for the info RoyalJCW. I just checked the site and my car is booked on the TOMBARRA. Our Coopers are shipmates for the next 21 days and set for a 12/7/06 arrival date. Last time it only took 3 days to get from CA up to the dealer here in WA! Whoo Hoo!

I just talked to Tomio at NWMINI and although the DonJuan is coming in on the 29th, he is telling me not to expect it until 12/15

Yes and no. I ordered them, then canceled them. I am still going to get them but I will install them myself after seeing what the dealer charges for installs. Most of the things that I want are pretty simple to install youself and not worth the cost of labor IMHO.

My MCS was actually finished on the 15th and is now at the port awaiting a vessel! Will try to find out what ship it should be on now. Good news!

It's because the VDC is backed up big time due to a recall that BMW has issued for the 335i Bi-Turbo, something to do with meeting emission standards... everyone will feel this one due to it. Our ship, Tombarra is due the 7th of December, but we are now being quoted Dec 30th (my birthday!) for dealer arrival Hopefully they will get things cleared up before that, but don't count on it!

I just have to make myself focus on the final result. Miles and miles of smiles motoring in my new Mini! I guess he gets here when he gets here. Nothing anyone can do, I suppose.

Man I hate this part of the wait... I feel blind not knowing where the ship is The ww site is down and the Mini site and the person at Ask Mini say my car is still waiting to board the ship funny because I have confirmation that it was loaded on the Tombarra from the WW site (when it was up). So now the wait. I know it was due to the Panama Canal November 28th... then final arrival on December 7th!

impatient:impatient17 more days!!!impatient:impatient

At least you know you're on a ship headed this way! I think mine's still on the pier awaiting a ship.

This is my first time to order a car from the factory. I always had the "instant" gratification of buying one off a lot, or showroom, (or newspaper!). I guess this is the price one pays. I think I'll just forget the tracking for a few days, then I'll be surprised at the progress! lol

So I just got a email from my dealer. They said that my car is due into port December 6th. Then 10 days from then it'll arrive to the dealer. We'll see about that .

Hi everyone. I'm new here, but it looks like my new baby is keeping yours' company on the Tombarra. =) (crosses fingers and hopes the staging delay at the port is brief)

I still need to name her, but she's a Chili Red Cooper S w/ black roof, all packages (except JCW, which they couldn't put on =/), nav, park distance, rear fog, tartan red seats to go with the red interior trim, tinted windows, chrome everywhere, anthracite headliner, armrest, and an aftermarket stereo system waiting for her. I'm going to miss the JCW, but maybe I can put the $6300 into after market mods and get even better performance? =)

I live in Berkely, CA (next to San Francisco). And this anticipation is killing me, too. =)
