Production Week 33 (August 14, 2006) Support Group
My car should hit the NYC docks 8/28, right on schedule; the Courage finally reported in, and she's almost there!

Mini-mine
Your plight to find out info bothered me, so I jumped into the WWW to do some sleuthing. I found another vehicle shipping company that sails from Southampton to Charleston. One of their vehicle cargo ships, the Frisia, left Southampton two days after the Manon and will dock in Charleston on September 7, two days after the Manon.
Checking the Port of Charleston website, the Frisia will dock at the same berth as the Wallenius ships.
If I had to bet, I think your car is on that ship. I tried to find a link that could search their cargo, but didn't have any luck except for containers.
Here's a link to the shipper's website that has some customer service numbers: http://www.kline.com/shipping/Services_PCC.asp
Maybe you can check with them to see if you car is on the Frisia.
EDIT - I searched this and the MINI2 websites and the Frisia has hauled MINIs before. Unfortunately, the Frisia can't be tracked because it doesn't send in weather reports. Bummer. END EDIT
What a mystery. If it's not on the Frisia, then it's got to be on the Black Pearl with Captain Jack Sparrow. Arghhhh, matey.
Good luck !

Yeah, it looks likely that is the ship it is on, if not one of the earlier ones by that same company. I guess it's good in a way that I can't track it any more since it keeps me off the internet more, haha.

Thanks for all your help though, and I'm happy it has at least got its sea legs!
Funny you should mention the Black Pearl! I mentioned the whole thing at work and my coworkers said the same thing!!

Did you realise we have the same colour combo MINI's too? Great minds think alike!

GO CROC !
It looks like the ship has already left the docks in NY, so those mini's should be working on readjusting their equilibrium and losing their sea legs. Congrats to all those who already landed.... Just a few days until it gets down to Charleston!
Stay away Ernesto!!!
Stay away Ernesto!!!
Iniw
INIW is MCS CR/B aka INIW#2. The first INIW was purchased right from the pipeline so we didn't have the fun experience of tracking it. INIW #2 status just changed to "en route" over the weekend. Now, thanks to the NAM sticky, I'll try tracking it's vessel. I'll post the vessel name once I get that so we can see if our MINIs ever meet up again!
Well, my automated status changed to "en route" today, even though the WW site says the ship isn't set to arrive/depart until the 30th, and my VIN doesn't come up yet. I talked to a customer representative and they said that they didn't have a way to track the car any more from this point, but that I should contact my dealer from here on out.
The OL hasn't updated yet and still says "awaiting transport". I would assume that given the 30th date, I probably haven't set sail yet.

I told my dealer where Stella was according to my tracking and they told me that they should have her by Monday at the latest (WOO!). I was also told that as long as she arrives at a decent hour of the day, I could pick her up that same day! So I guess I'll have to wait and see what the dealer says

Ernesto isn't as bad as they thought it would be, so that's a plus. I'm sure it will be fine
Good news yesterday: my MA called to say that Stella was in NY (which I knew) and that they were thinking she'd be there by the end of the week (which I didn't know)! Then a day for them to clean her up, etc. and then pick-up!!

Well, today is the day when my boat (the Torrens) is scheduled to leave. So far, according to the site, it hasn't set sail yet, but I'm keeping an eye on it. My VIN# doesn't currently show that it's been added to any of the ships yet.
I will be sure to take lots of pictures
I really can't believe how fast she made it - I really had no idea it would be this quick! Hopefully that means all you guys will soon be taking delivery too!
This is totally the best support group ever

Congrats to Katherine and Stella that is really fast turnaround!
I am still waiting on the Courage and Ernesto. The Courage still looks to be in Baltimore and schedule to leave today. I am wondering if it will just wait out the storm in Balt or move on and brave the weather. The courage is suppose to get to S.C. on Friday, but Enresto is supposed to arrive late Thursday..... Hopefully the storm stays weak and does not strenghten before Charleston.
Still impatiently waiting.... Good luck to the rest of you awaiting your delivery.
