Wow, that's new info, too. The Patriot wasn't even listed when I first looked at that site this morning. Awesome!!

Great - I'm glad to help! I have searched every ship-tracking-type web site there is and found no record of the MIGNON past 08 May! It is driving me crazy....

Perhaps tomorrow the little guy will be off-loaded in NY(?)

Maybe someone can offer me some help here. I just got off the phone with ASK MINI, they said that my MCc will be completed on 07/15/06, and then it should take 4-6 weeks from then until it makes it to my dealer. Is that accurate ? I was told by my sales guy that it takes 6-8 weeks total. She said that it was coming in to Port Charelston and I am in South Florida, if that makes any difference.

Don't know which ship yet, but my Mini is sitting on the dock in South Hampton waiting for the next ship too. But, I was told it could take 7-10
days for that to happen. Gosh this is so exciting.

Check out the "How to Track your Mini" post if you haven't done so already.

I think that estimation's about right.

Based on your completion date, you might be able to catch a ride on the Resolve vessel--but most likely you'll be on the Liberty (see attached).

BTW, welcome to NAM!

Mine is in the paint shop right now!!! :-) They said the estimated completion date is 7/11 so it should be done tomorrow. I am really hoping it gets on the Resolve for its trip to Charleston. If so I might be motoring around the first few days of August!

I think you will make it. Actually you might make the Courage on the 15th. My MINI was completed on the fourth of July and was loaded on board the Patriot on the 7th of July and the ship sailed on the 7th.

I actually hope I DONT make it onto the Patriot on the 15th because it appears to stop in NY first and takes 4 days longer to get to Charleston. I am hoping that they will load all of the Charleston cars onto the Resolve on the 16th so that mine will get there 3 days earlier. I think that is the first time I have wished that something would take longer in this process, and it will likely be the last. :-P

Neverfifty, the Trinidad leaves SouthHampton for New York tomorrow, the 11th, and the Courage leaves on the 15th. I'll bet your MINI will be on the Trinidad. Is it going to MINI of Sterling?

Red Scooter:

I have been trolling this board for a week or so ever since I ordered my MINI from Scottsdale. I am excited to see yours is getting close to being shipped. Keep up the updates as mine is a little behind yours and it is interesting to follow your track!

Hey Stomprocket,

That's cool news. Who is your MA? Mine is Debi. I went on the waiting list 4/22 and ordered on 6/8. And now...drum roll...waiting away for my boat across the pond. So you're only about a week behind me right?

Are you planning on getting involved in the MINI club here? I didn't realize this whole sub-culture of MINI enthusiasts existed but it has been a ton of fun. Just can't wait for the delivery and to MOTOR!

Thanks for letting me know I have "kin" in Arizona.

Btw, I LOVE your color combo. The silver and black look awesome together!

Red Scooter,

My MA was Greg. I went in and looked in early June and was told the waiting list would put me in production late August. I was discouraged (impatient) but have liked the mini for such a long time that I decided it was probably worth the wait. I put money down in late July and joked with Debi and Greg that if there were those that couldn't make up their mind I would and could get my order decided quick! About week later (holiday weekend) Greg said I could get into July production if I was ready right away... I jumped on it.

Sounds like a great car that you have coming. I really liked the CR... surprised you didn't get tempted by the red JCW they had in there a couple weeks ago! That car sold me on the red/black interior.

Not sure about getting involved in the clubs as the kids keep us pretty busy. But I would like to go to some of the events. I am selling my British motorcycle now to make way for the MINI and enjoyed that sub-culture as well.

Won't be long for you now!

Hey Week 27 peeps I'm back from Florida, and my MINI was completed on 7/7 and is at the docks. It doesn't appear to be booked on a ship yet, but I'm hoping it gets on the Trinidad today. I'll call my MA today to see if they know more.

Ditto, Chimera!

I just checked my VIN on the WW site and I too am booked for the Trinidad. It was wishful thinking to even be on it as I was assuming I'd be booked for the Courage. Woohoo!

I pulled up the "Track By Booking Number" and it looks like there are 159 MINIs on the boat. PARTY!

UPDATE: There were 91 MINIs loaded onto Trinidad.

According to the Southampton VTS - Shipping Movements website, it seems the Trinidad is scheduled to depart at 21:00 local time, which I believe is 4:00 PM EST?

Chimera and crishchun, be sure to check the WW site throughout the day today. If the Trinidad leaves today, and your cars make it on, your status will say "Loaded". If the ship leaves and your status is still "Booked", then ya didn't make it I learned that one the hard way.

Just checked again. Mine was received at the terminal 7/11 around 1:30 local time. I'll check again throughout the rest of the afternoon to see if I make it.

My status on the WW site now says I'm loaded, so I guess I'm good to go. Now where can I disappear for the next 9 days to make this wait easier. The last 4 in Disney World certainly helped....

Turcicus, I noticed that also. Maybe she has "fair winds and following seas" helping her across the big waters. At any rate she must be making good progress. I just wish we could track her on the www.sailwx.info or some other site. I guess we just need to be patient and let the time pass.
