Production Week 24 (June 12, 2006) Support Group
I just talked to my MA at MAG and I'm losing some confidence in him.
He doesn't seem to know anything and said that they never get the shipping information. While on the phone he said he checked and that as of Monday it was being loaded onto a ship. I question that since WW doesn't have it trackable and the K-Line/EMDEN wasn't in Southhampton on Monday.
I'm officially in limbo right now.

The last email to ask for tracking (post delivery to the port) has been unanswered for 4 days now...
I feel like they make money off you and that's just about it...

My last email was about adding boot stripes and getting an update on the shipping (since Customer Relations at ASK-MINI said he'd know). His phone message was that they could add boot stripes through a 3rd party but he ignored the shipping question. After calling, he kept saying all they know is that it's "on the water". I told him that that was good news because all I knew was that it was still at the port. I asked him to verify that and after a few minutes he said that it had been loaded onto the boat on Monday "at Oxford...or, you know, where they load them." His answer and tone were odd in a way that makes me wonder if he actually knows anything more than I do which is precious little.
Two points to ponder for those of us still in the dark about what ship we're on...
1. Newest poster Pezmaster31 has already gotten confirmation about loading on the WW's INTEGRITY.
2. A K-Line ship EMDEN has already left port with some MINIS onboard...
If we're not on the EMDEN then we should be already getting notice about being on the INTEGRITY....
My conclusion- we're probably on the EMDEN with Chopper's MINI!
What do you think?

I called and spoke with ASK-MINI and all they said was that they only track to the port. They said that my MINI was at the port on June 13th and it takes about a week to a week and a half to board a ship. They said that my dealer has the capability to track it once it's on the ship. I sent a message to my sales person and he hasn't responded yet. Since my MINI is going to Dallas, they said that it would go to Port Charleston.
Pezmaster,
Your at least one step ahead of some of us, anyway!
I'll be tracking both shipping lines' boats as they cross the ocean...
kinda fun anyway, especially when you get the weather reports from them too.
Since I was out on Lake Superior last weekend, I can imagine the rolling and rocking!

Just speculating about what MINIS are with me on the Emden, but I would think anyone who had a completion date 12-14 June or possibly even the 15th that has Charleston as the Port of Entry, hopefully would be onboard. I can't believe BMW would leave cars at the docks in SouthHampton if space was avail, since WWLines should have it scheduled for shipment by now. On the otherhand those of you above the SC Dist. Ctr region I have no Idea if they unload cars in Baltimore and truck them back to the NJ Dist. Ctr. as Balt. is the only other stop. I would call Ask-Mini to see if they do unload and truck back! Hope this will Help. Happy Motoring real soon for all of us!
Sailing, sailing over the open seas . . .
Confirmed with our MA that our MCS is aboard the Emden. Appears Emden left Southampton on evening of 17JUN06. I estimate arrival in Baltimore on 27JUN06 and in Charleston on 29JUN06. Continue to expect delivery on 04JUL06 at MINI of Nashville as optimistic date.
Hope you are all on board if not on the WW ships that sailed last week1

Mine says there's no way for him to determine what ship I'm on. I'm not sure he even knows what WW or K-Line even mean. When I asked he referred to me as a 'hard core' Mini person...
my MA hasnt returned my emails since last week... i give up on him.
On the lighter side of things, MANON tracking hasnt been updated in 14 days... So i tracked the next boat out from SouthHampton, the Liberty. I this this helps out those on the liberty ship.

Also the owners lounge finally updated my status... but now my order details have disappeared... hmph!

I don't know how to post a pic yet, but here is a link to a photo of the good ship EMDEN...
