I think you said that F.red was on the Pamplona. I think my MINI was as well. Has the OL updated to "at the VDC" for you yet? It still says "En Route" for me...

 

Yup arriving on 10/3 at Port Hueneme. At the moment my calendar seems empty for the 3rd....I want to be at the port when it arrives and unloads! Port Hueneme is around 30 miles away from where I work. If I don't make it to the port, I'll have my eyes glued on the 101 eastbound (right in front of the office) the next few days to spot the truck! I'M CRAZY!!! :impatient

 

yah know... I have a feeling I will be last to get my MCS on this shippment as I have to wait for it to arrive in Hawaii...:impatient

tough price to pay for being able to wear shorts all year around...

Yes I was on the Pamplona, Gr8Force is on the EMDEN and was told Charleston on 10/04/2005. But looks like 10/03/2005, Icarus must be paddling

My MA says this week

 

The car arrived early Tuesday afternoon. Will get the film installed Wednesday morning then I just need to get the time to pick it up.

Will post pics with I pick it up and find time to install a floppy drive

 

Oh, I can wear shorts all year long as well.

Hey everyone, this morning checked the OL and I now have an Estimated Delivery Date as October 7. I am so happy. That is when I wanted it exactly so that we could pick it up on the 8th. Both my hubby and I have a 3 day weekend that weekend b/c of Columbus Day so I will talk him into a ROAD TRIP on monday the 10. YEAAA!!! Anyone else with this newfound wonderful news?

 

Now I know it's not a wholly stealth ship! The Eijin, with Boudicea aboard, shows up on AIS at the Cristobal Anchorages this morning. Yay!

 

Pick up F.Red 11:30am Thursday.

Will I sleep tonight?

 

I have seen my car.. does that count for anything?

Need to see if I can scoot out of work a tad early to pick it up tomorrow. Else I fear I will not be able to pick up until Monday if I am lucky.

 

Yeah, that counts for seeing your car. Driving it and parking it in your garage or parking space...that's a whole 'nother thing.

F.Red arrived Charleston Monday got to Global Import Wed. 3pm.

I'm only having the wheels changed from 17" to 16" and mirror changed from chrome to white. I asked the dealer not to wash F.Red he's my baby not their's. So I can pick F.Red up Thursday

 

So cool! Can't wait to see F.Red.

BTW, why wouldn't you want them to wash F.Red and why go from 17's to 16's?

 

Sorry, I haven't been around. I've been out driving Mr. Magoo. Much fun and lots of stares.

Well according to the others that are in the same "boat" that I am, Icarus should be on the Emden and that is at N40.42/W52.48 with a estimated arrival at Charleston of 10/3. My MA still has an estimated arrival at Charleston of 10/4. Big diff! I'm hoping beyond belief that Icarus will be in my grubby hands by this time next week.

In the meantime I'm loving hearing about everyone getting their MINI's and their reactions. We've only got one pic so far and I know more than one of you have your MINI now so quit slackin' and being selfish. Share that new beast with the rest of us who are squirming. Especially poor roehrigs01 all the way out there in HA. Don't worry buddy I'll hang here with you until I see a pic of your MINI!

The worst part is the wait from the last few days before the ship is in port.

Gone into hiding again. Expected in San Diego on 10/1 at 22:00 hrs. Then ETD is 10/2 at 16:00. And like I mentioned before, the NYK person I emailed responded and said that the vessel is scheduled to discharge at Port Hueneme on 10/3. These last few days go by the slowest!

I've seen two MINIs in Montreal in the two days I've been here. That's a good thing, because in Seattle I see at least five on the road on my way to work. It makes the wait a little more bearable!

 

Eijin entered the Panama Canal yesterday morning. After 2 days of periodic obsession, I was rewarded with a glimpse of the ship as it transited the final lock of the Canal.

She's in the Pacific! Now I'll check the hurricane status, since Otis is lurking off the coast of Baja

 

Great pics SmallIsBeautiful!!!!! I think that Phinneus, my MCS, is on that boat. Great to see where he is. I can't wait to get my hands on him. Have you recieved an EDD yet?
