Bringin' her home this Monday, 5.16!!
After a very patient and exciting wait since the March 28th order date, my Dark Silver MINI Cooper S is finally ready to be taken home!
To add to the suspensful wait, I've had to drive a borrowed '92 Dodge Caravan as my get-around vehicle after I sold my two Civics! Only 'til Monday, though! A refresh on the goods:
2005 Dark Silver Metallic/ Black roofed MCS
Limited-slip differential
Front fogs
Rear fog
Cold-weather package
On-board computer
Anthracite interior trim
Black/grey space cloth interior
16" web-spokes
That's right, it's the lightweight autocross package!
I'll post pics and smiles in a few days!

Happy Friday the 13th! I know what you mean about tranisition cars. I was able to borrow my FIL's '99 Honda Accord while he was in Tuscany. Not a bad car, obviously, but the rear drum breaks (can't believe these are still legal!), left a lot to be desired.
Well, have a great time with your S. BTW, I like your specs. No added weight! Motor hard, dude!

Drumroll please.............
Well, here she is! I know I picked the car up last Monday, but I've been so caught up in the new motoring experience that I've nearly forgotten about my beloved PC and the wonderful Web! Anyway, I've already been playing around with it and put on the Aero grille, which actually came in the same day I got the car. Less than 48 hours went by before I pulled the front bumper off!
I also put my 17" Konig Traffiks on from my previous car (2002 Civic Si), which are already wrapped in 215/45 Goodyear Eagle GS-Ds. I'll post a couple of pics of these in a day or so. Without further adeu.....

Thanks for all the thumbs up! I plan to do a bit of autocrossing in the St. Louis region, but It's mainly a fun thing for me since I don't make the investment in r-compound tires. It's still wicked fun though!
