Hey everyone !

I finally decided to join you guys on this forum and to share with you my experience driving my Mini !

I'm 26, i'm French, and i've been driving my Mini Cooper D R56 (2008) since 2012 already ! It's still a nice feeling to get in each morning though

This car is my first vehicle so i'm really taking care of it !

I already did some modifications : tinted windows (5% rear, 15% front) plastidip rims (kind of dirty right now tbh), white vision bulbs, small antenna.
And i would like to add these mods in the future :

-17" Black rims
-8000k front lights
-Shark Fin Antenna
-Mini Cooper S Spoiler
-Rear White Stripes

What do you guys think ? If you have any other mods ideas, i'll be glad to hear them !

I also have another question : I would like to have a better sound coming out the exhaust pipe (without increasing performance). I read that there are some solutions, but i would like to know which solution is the cheapest and the easiest ?

Welcome.

Cheapest and easiest is cutting out the center resonator, but i cant remember is the France MINIs Have them stock, I think they do.

Otherwise Milltek and a non resonated system .

Hi guys, me again !

I did a couple of mods on my car and wanted to share some pictures with you.

I changed the parking lights headbulbs by 2 LED bulbs, it's much more brighter now and looks way nicer. I replaced as well the license plates bulbs by LED as well and finally i plastidipped again my rims which needed it.

I'm still waiting for more pieces to come, and as soon as i install them i will share some pictures with you.

The license plate lights are really bright!

 

Much better,, looks like our Ziza LEDs. Maybe a hint more blue, but could be the camera.

 

Hey guys i've got another question about my exhaust mod...As you know i would like a deeper and sportier sound but i'm not sure that removing the center resonator is legal in France...I was thinking about replacing the muffler by an universal one like this one :
