emailed my MA and asked him for ETA as I landed in Baltimore last Monday and he replied "Just got word that they are not releasing the 2013 models until Aug. 1st from the port."
So it looks like another week and a half.

 

That doesn't seem right. There are a few people on here that have already been booked on a boat this week.

My MA said no 2013 cars have been released from NJ yet, I asked him about the Aug 1 day and he knew nothing about it, he originally said it would be here for this weekend.
Has anyone heard about delivery of their 2013?

Side note- Are you sure that they are not letting 2013s from the port until August 1. That sounds a little bizarre...

When I checked with my MA on Sat she said they didn't have an ETA to the dealer yet. I was hoping for an email from her today but nothing so far.........

 

My MA told me last week that there could be a possibility of the car being held at the port or the dealership awaiting EPA certification for the new model year. How did jkapinos make out he was hoping to pick up his MINI today?

 

I have a message into the district manager and we will see what the news is when i get a call back. A hold to August 1 seems strange but there are strange things out there

 

My MA said something similar. My car is at the distro center. My MA said the government certifications for the 2013 year had not been complete. He thought it could be another week, which puts it around this coming weekend. The 1st sounds plausible.

 

I was so busy at work today, I had no chance to talk to anyone. Also was not called. I know my car cleared the VDC and is set to ship to dealer. That is only about a half hour from the VDC. I'll have to call tomorrow and see what's going on.

Florida Highway has left Baltimore and is now on the way to GA. The ETA is for tomorrow, 7/25 sometime in the morning.

 

Looks like things are going to get crowded at the distribution centers. I hope it's 1st in/1st out.

 

It's a new baby MINI, complete today and released to carrier! Let's hope by the time "Jeeves" makes it to the boat and across the pond the bottleneck at the VDC will be gone

Just confirmed with my MA my MCS is sitting at the New York (New Jersey) VDC but they are not releasing any MY13 cars until Aug he didnt even have a solid date he just was told Aug. Has anyone got a date from their MA? So the wait continues guess I will have another bag .

 

My MCS is with yours in NJ and I have not been able to get a date of release either.

 

Just found out that mine is due into Baltimore on WWL Integrity on 3Aug12.
