I've just been calling Ask MINI; I've had some dopey reps but for the most part they've been really awesome. The automated system says it's in the paint shop but the live rep I called earlier said it had completed QA so I'm taking the live persons word for it.

Grey and sky; let's hope our MINIs aren't out too late partying this weekend that they miss their boat!

 

It's always been my experience that the OL and automated systems are a bit behind so I'd rely on the rep.

Let's hope they behave themselves and get here quickly and safely. Waiting to get on the boat and then waiting for the boat to get here is the hardest part.

GACK! Even if the owners' lounge doesn't have an updated status on mine, I want to go in and see the configuration and feel that little bubble of happiness while reading that mine is partying with it's brothers on the cruise ship. OL no available at the moment... GACK!

 

My Roadster is sitting there in Brunswick, GA waiting to get on the truck and come down to meet me. MA talks like it will be only 2 days once it gets put on the truck. Making the assumption that nothing will happen on Sunday, I'm thinking I could be behind the wheel as soon as Wednesday. The wait is killing me!

 

I wish, It is sitting on a dock in NJ waiting a nice truck to bring it closer to me. MA says next weekend

 

FINALLY, my car has been released to the carrier! I am super excited!!! Cannot wait!

 

I am so excited to see florida highway on the map again. The fact she has a stop before GA is killing me. I can't wait to see new pictures soon. It seems that we have quite a few people about to become new parents

I have hated it when the ship has been out of range from the map. But she's in Chesapeake Bay this morning. I just want to see her heading south, out of Chesapeake Bay.

 

I'm told Monday. We shall see.

 

First week in July I sold my 2008 Clubman and ordered my 2013 Roadster, British race car green, black sport stripe, Toffee leather interior and trim. I tracked ti all the way to the Independance II. The day it was supposed to ship it said "returned to shipper". My MA says it won't ship till august. It seems silly to me for it to be done and them not ship.

 

They have a last QC before loading. They also have a QC before shipping to dealer at the VDC.

 

My car has been out of production awaiting transport since July 4th. So, I understand. Everyday I checked for my MCS hoping for it to ship. This weekend it was finally released to the carrier.

 

Edgar's been booked and received on Integrity sailing tomorrow! Who are his shipmates? :D

 

Mine is on the Integrity also.

 

Andrew_C - I'm still trying to trace mine to a ship. It was at the dock on Friday and I still can't pull anything up by VIN. I was hoping mine would be on the Integrity as well, but I guess not.

Just to make sure I'm tracking it correctly, you just put your VIN in the cargo ID field right?

Hopefully it loads soon!

 

Andrew_C I know that my car has been sent to a shipping carrier; however, I do not know when my car is leaving or what boat it will be on. Hopefully, GreyNation's and my car will be joining you and Imaginary Sister. Ready for some more popcorn!

 

Doesn't seem like I'm going to be sailing with you!! My car is in that 'black hole' between the factory and the ship. Nothing is showing up yet on the WW site, so I don't think I'll be on the Integrity.

 

Edgar went on radio silence after Ask-MINI said it was done with QA Friday morning. I just kept spamming the WW site with my VIN until it showed up this morning. I'd probably have chewed off all my nails had I not had an update this morning on it.

Yes Grey, just gotta plug in the VIN to the cargo ID.

Now I just hope he doesn't do anything too rowdy to get kicked off the ship!

 

Well I just checked and it doesn't look like I'm on the boat today. Hopefully I can catch the next one out. WW has one leaving on the 29th, the Don Juan and K-Line has a boat leaving on the 27th and the 3rd.

I guess Sir Voorhees is still waiting with all his buddies. Hopefully he doesn't cause any problems.

 

No luck with my VIN on the WW site yet... guess ours are still together on the docks, Grey! What port in the US is your car headed to? It looks like another week before the next boat heads to Baltimore.

 

Looks like my MCS will not be leaving this time around. I guess I will be on the next boat with Grey and Skylinezx.

 

For those waiting, I can tell you - the waiting is so hard but once you have your baby, all that goes away! Pretty soon you will be behind the wheel, feeling the same thing I felt, and you will know what I meant
