All I was able to get was the $750 test drive promo (even though I took delivery 3 days after July 2), and then they took another $100 off the car because my MA, let's just say, misinformed me about they cost of some of the accessories I ordered. But at least it was something.

 

Just moved from "On order" to "Scheduled for Production"! Woohoo!

ETA: Just phoned ASK MINI for the first time. Completion date is 7/24!

 

Yep, for now Bean stays!! I already run to sets of tires on him and he does fantastic in the snow, so I think the roadster will be a toy.

 

I'm surprised that they didn't keep Mellow Yellow around for very long. I think of all the yellows is is the best!! I wish that MINI would bring back more fun and different colors. We don't want boring, BMW colors!

 

Hi all... 7/10/12 - Ordered a MCHS, pepper white, HID's, heated seats, sunroof, automatic... Just moved to production! Going to be a big change from my 2007 Jeep Wrangler Sahara... Live in Massachusetts - snow tires are going to be a must if I plan on going anywhere!

Kimberly, I love the white silver color. But picking out colors and details was difficult for me. I made about 4 trips to the dealer and ended up letting the seats and package limit my paint choices. Once there were only 3 colors to chose between, my choice was clear after seeing the color in person.

Oh yeah, LUCKY people whose cars will be docking this week. Are you sick of popcorn, yet?

My car has been finished since 7/9 and awaiting transportation.

 

All season tires are ok in the winter but not great in deep snow or icy conditions. There is nothing like snow tires
I have 2 sets of tires for my 06 and will do the same on the 13

minibered, they didn't load our until the day the ship left (a day after it was scheduled) Does the shipper at least have your info now? There should be another boat leaving mon or tues, right?

On the positive side of things, the Turandot has made it across the ocean and is just south of newfoundland. I feel so much better now that I can track the boat again

 

My car was already 4 days across the pond when my MA emailed me to tell me the ship had left 4 days earlier. That was 4 days of non-stalking that I can never get back

You might want to call your MA to see if the ship has left yet?

So, looking at the post about the Port H VDC... does anyone know if our cars are coated up with wax or felt wrapped for shipping? Does it vary based on coupe/roadster vs hatchback styling?

The Independence II did not leave Southampton yesterday. It's scheduled out today with the Topeka. MINIBERED, perhaps our cars will be boarding one of these ships for their cruise, and will leave the UK today.

 

Mine's still awaiting transport. I'm not able to pull up the VIN on the tracking site yet. Hope it starts its voyage this week! I see other WMWZG3C54DTY32xxx cars in the system, so hopefully it will be along soon.

I'm on status 150 according to Ask MINI which they said means it's in production but they didn't have any details on where it was in the factory. I can't wait to call back tomorrow and see if I can get more details. I feel like it's Christmas Day every day. lol

 

When I go to WW it is still not loaded. I emailed my MA last night, hopefully I will hear from him soon.

When you say its not loaded, do you mean they have no info, or they have the info and its not loaded yet? If its just not loaded I wouldn't worry, our cars weren't loaded until hours before the boat left (which was a day after it was supposed to leave). If they still don't have your info, then something is seriously wrong, and I'd be asking where your mini really is (though hopefully its actually on the first boat and they just didn't update their system).

 

When I type my info in at WW it says No Info and my MA still has not gotten back to me.... :'-(

 

Where I cant seem to track it what site are you using. I am going out of my mind need more

miniusa doesn't have any info either? I'd still hold out hope that they just messed up and didn't capture your info when they loaded your ship...or they misread the VIN on the car or something. I can't fathom why your car would take this long to get into their system.

 

Both the WW ships Independence 2 and Topeka sailed today, but the WW site doesn't show my VIN on record. The owner's lounge & MINIUSA still say that my BSEdition is awaiting a carrier.

Bummed, bummed, bummed. Need to unbutter my popcorn. It's going to be a longer wait than I hoped and I want to fit into it when it arrives.

soon2b -- my ship came in today -- literally -- in Baltimore. I've been stalking my MA on when I can drive off in my MCS convertible. We go on vacation (fittingly, to Bermuda) at the end of the week. So, I think "Catherine" will be lonely until our return at the end of next week. Sigh.

 

Dont give up hope yet, the web site was about 12 hours delayed in reporting that my car was on turandot
