Anyone else have a MINI headed for Pt. Hueneme (due Feb. 22) on Platinum Ray? The vessel is waiting off the N. coast of Panama for its turn to go into the canal. Hope to catch a glimpse of it here:

It took 8 days for my Justa to reach Hueneme from Panama. That's your time frame. Not long, now!

Now I can relax for 2 1/2 weeks....maybe.

 

I don't think I could hold out that long without booking a flight to find out what was up!!! Two week wait was enough for me....hang in there!

 

Thanks! Just hearing that others are moving onto ships makes me hope (sigh) that Sprout is moving on down the line! I'm beginning to think he doesn't want to leave England!

 

Hopefully we can travel together and get here to go have some fun in the sun.

DR61, if you look at the plat ray schedule @ the ww site it says it has already left Manzanillo. The Colon picture is 24 hour delayed I believe.

A MINI buyer's favorite phrase....Loaded On Vessel. Theoretically into Port Hueneme on the 7th of March, and very soon thereafter to the dealer....

This is my third MINI. Very happy with the other two. Awaiting a WS/CR JCW Coupe.

I ordered my first MINI back in '02 from Westchester MINI in New York, flew out, and drove it across the country. What a great experience .

Now to finish off the wait: clean out the garage, paint the floor, buy new detailing stuff......

I was hoping to see the vessel on a canal webcam, but it started into the canal late last night, and this morning it is gone - 'out of range'. May the Pacific be calm for it's remaining voyage!

 

Just found out yesterday from my MA that my car is on the "California Highway" (K-line) and is scheduled to be in port on Feb. 23. I guess I wasn't bugging him enough to find out sooner..... And, it also explains why the WW site had no record of my VIN.

Sorry, blbandit, I guess we won't be on the same ship.

 

My MA told me today that mine will be in port on the Feb 22nd. Mine must also be on a K-line. I'm glad you told me now I fill better because I didn't think he knew what he was looking at because I could find it on the WW site. I have happy feet now.

 

I ordered my british racing green II MCS on monday. My MA sent me a text that it went into production the next day. This is going to be the longest wait of my life.

 

Nice color! I keep telling myself the wait is worth it! And, at least we can track our cars throughout the process--I'd hate to wait two months, not knowing how things are progressing!

 

Sprout I think we are on the same boat. I just pulled the K-line schedule and the California Highway is schedule for Brunswick, GA on Feb 22nd. So I think we will be sailing together. It's time to party. We are getting closer.

 

Staynedglass. It should take about a week for the production and after that the waiting really starts trying to get on a boat. Mine just got on a boat and I have about another 2 1/2 weeks.

 

when we bought my wifes justa in october our MA was not so good. I didn't even know about the owners lounge. I had to call him once a week to see what was going on with the car. After that experience i went to a different dealership to buy my car. My MA is awesome. She is a mini enthusiast. So she is being super helpful.

 

 

Wow, sorry to hear about your first MA. This is our first Mini, so we were lucky to get a good one--he told us about the Owner's Lounge right away. And, he owns one, so that helps!

 

Figured I'd add my $.02 here as well. Just ordered my 2nd MINI Convertible on Saturday. Lease is up on my BRG 2009 Cabrio (Lizzie) at the end of April.

This time (Vickie) went with Lightning Blue, otherwise similar setup: CW Package, H/K, iPod/Bluetooth, Fog Lamps, Armrest

Question: Since I have a production number, I should be able to track her by adding a new MINI in my profile update, and it should fill in the rest, right? Because I got the prod number yesterday morning but details don't show up.

I know it got off the boat but here we are again with another

This is my first Mini, so I haven't added another one, but I've noticed it takes a few days for OL to update. My Sprout is on a ship but it still says "Awaiting Transport!" Give it a few days--hopefully it will update!
