Figured I'll make my first post on this thread since I've been watching it.

My BRG Clubman S is on the Fedora (at least my VIN was shown as loaded on that vessel) wandering aimlessly north of the canal (make a left turn - you can do it!).

Hoping for a fast trip to Port Hueneme and then onto the SF bay area so I can pick it up. I'm not normally an OCD type but I guess waiting for a mini can do that to you!

I really hoping that the owner's lounge info is completely out of date - it says that I'm still waiting for transport - that's like 11 days old.

Looks like its finally headed in the right direction, that is if it doesn't decide to turn again!

Almost wishing we lived in So Cal because I want my car so badly, but then again we would have to pay taxes on it too!! So, I get to wait it out until Mini Z makes it's slow trek up to Portland......

 

Hello... I'm new here, ordered my Mini a few weeks ago. It just finished production. Yay! I've been reading the posts here - is there a consensus on how long the rest of the trip takes? How many days before it gets on a ship, and how long it might take to get to the dealer in California? Or is there some blind luck here?

This is the first time I've ordered a new car, and I see that the waiting is hard to take. I've memorized a good half of the videos out on youtube!

Anyone else on the TURANDOT? My boat arrives Wednesday March 1st in New Jersey, my dealer is about 50 miles from the VDC there, what's an estimated weight time from when my car is unloaded until it arrives at my dealer...

I have weighted almost a month now and the suspense is killing me!

Can someone alleviate my pain?

Dashshund, This is also the first time I have ordered a car. I'm glad a found this group because it helps to keep you going. Like you I have watched the videos over and over again. Hopefully mine will be at the dealer on Wed. I hope they call early becaused I work and the dealer is 1 1/2 away. But I'm ready with my tag.

 

The Owner's Lounge info is pretty useless in my opinion. (1-866-275-6464(ASKMini) is your best resource as has been pointed out earlier. You can even talk to a real person!

RC Chili got her windows tinted today! 35% all around except for the front. Looks bad-***! Pics to come later.

 

Why has the Fedora been anchored in Manzalinablahblah for so long?

My contact in Panama said that the captain is a big NASCAR fan and is waiting for the Daytona 500 to finish.

I know have a new ship (Tortugas) that my Mini is to be loaded on tomorrow. Hopefully I'm not bumped twice. This waiting thing is killing me. I just want my Mini in my garage.
