Since my MA said my car was being delivered to Brunswick on the 23rd, and ASKMINI and OL had it en route, and it wasn't showing up on the WW site, the only vessel that worked was the Bishu Highway, which had a schedule that matched depart and arrive dates, and was a KLine ship.

OK; it looks like a process of elimination then. I'll keep checking with OL (for change of status to "en route") and MA (for port date). I'll also keep plugging VIN into WW just in case. Thanks again...

FYI, OL did not show mine was en route until it was at sea for 2 or 3 days.

Yeah, OL registered "awaiting transport" on the 23rd or 24th; consistent lag.

Got confirmation today from my MA that my car was scheduled for production on 5/24. And so it begins!

Congratulations... he/she should have know the birth date if they knew the start of production... or should know that fairly soon, since it usually takes about 10 days to produce a new Mini (or at least mine took that long).

I'm hoping to see mine and drive it home this Wednesday.

I liked LuLu . Got any fun mods planned when you get your MINI? Have you bought any Homecoming Gifts?

Already purchased a Whalen Shift ****... picture is in my Gallery.
Plus I already picked up a couple different GoBadges... otherwise I think my Mini is perfect!!!

Little Blue Meanie. I do see the resemblance. Post pics when you get your Whalen Shift and badges installed.

Just ordered today!

I had really been wanting a fun car for the last couple of years since I've had (some sorta fun) practical cars & SUV's for as long as I can remember. I'm 100% sure that adding a Mini to my life should solve meet that requirement!

I met my MA a couple of years ago when I thought I might get one, but the Mrs. nixed the idea then...this time around she has decided that this wasn't a battle worth picking and is OK with me ordering the car.

So I went out last week and drove a Justa and remembered why I wanted one in the first place. I described what I thought I wanted and thanked him and went home to contemplate. Today, I went down to check out colors and options again and "Stormy" showed me a car that he had already ordered this week....turns out that it was almost 100% of what I wanted and it hadn't gone into production yet...

So, I asked him if we could make some modest changes and make this one mine....Yes, he said...so I left a deposit, and I will officially start obsessing about this car, and anxiously await its' arrival!

I ordered:

12MA Cooper Hardtop
B22 BRG II
K9E1 Carbon Blk Leatherette
2GA 5 Star Twin Spoke (15")
382 Roof & Mirror in white
4AA Anthracite Headliner
520 Fog Lights
6ND Bluetooth
785 White Turn Signals

And he was able to add the White Viper Sport Stripes as a part of the factory order for me as well!

Gotta tell you Fatboy97, I don't know how you went from Lulu (assuming Lil Lulu) to Little Blue Meanie, but I like it! It's been years since I've seen the Yellow Submarine.

Congratulations on your order tmomini,
Welcome to this role-call of impatient waiters. In the meantime have some popcorn.

Congrats tmomini! I feel for you, and all others who are or have waited for one to go through production.

I had a short list of requirements:

AWD
Space for kid's car seats
Fun to drive (speedy, manual transmission, aggressive)
Wicked stylish and unique

I had a color combination and accessory list that fit me and my MA searched the database and found an exact match which just finished production. So my wait has just been from production completion to shipping.

I could have it this week...after almost 4 weeks since the process started, which I know is very short compared to other wait times, but it has been brutal.

I've never been so excited about a purchase in all my life! If I am not busy with something, all I think about is this car.

You walked in the right place at the right time ALL4JOE!
I put in my order on April 11th and am hoping to warm the tires on it next week or the week after. It seems like forever but how it's configured I guess I can't complain. (as if I haven't been) My MA said 6 to 8 week lead time so their estimate is right on. Production and shipping to Baltimore went much faster than expected but it got stalled at the VDC. And yes it is brutal, I'm sure it's no less brutal for you it just won't be for as long.

If it's like mine, then it will be very accurate... and it would like a fairly fast to get it into production. The longer part is going to be waiting for a ship that will go all the way to CA... and then waiting for that long trip. We all go through it in one form or another. Sit back for a long strange trip... it will be worth it!!!

And have a little popcorn...
