Anyone else on the Medea, due in NY (NJ) on May 30?

 

The Integrity is starting to show up on MarineTraffic's website off the coast of Maryland/New Jersey/New York. It's hit or miss on updating every 1/2 hour/45 minutes or so.... but it's getting closer to Baltimore.

 

Passing the Outer Banks now. Should be picking up next week if all goes to plan. Just need to get all my mods/car stuff on hand now so I'm ready. Can't wait.

Chernobog has arrived and I picked him up earlier today! I shall be uploading photos soon but I must say, it was worth the wait. I love my MINI!! I used to read people say "it's worth the wait" when I was going through my excruciating days and not believe it. Well, I believe it now. Good luck to all!

 

My car has arrived at the dealership and I get to pick it up on Thursday!!!

You are just barely at the beginning of the entire process... waiting for your Mini to come off the assembly line, waiting for a ship, waiting for it makes it's way across that big pond, waiting for it pull into your port, waiting for it to get through VDC, waiting for it to get to the dealership... you have a little more waiting ahead of you... but it will be worth it!!!

 

Is anyone aware of hold ups at the Baltimore VDC. I had a delivery date of 5/21 that got bumped to 5/25 and now to 5/28. Granted my S Clubman is heavely optioned but some of that will need to be done at the dealer. My MA said she expected delivery on 5/23. Let's see, 5/21 - 5/23 - 5/25 - 5/28=1 MINI (Is any of it still original?)

Do you know what ship?

I'm tracking the Integrity, which just pulled in and it's sitting across the harbor... I'm guessing it's off loading some other vehicles. I'm hoping it will move over to VDC side of the harbor soon and start offloading my Mini soon. It was expected to be there on 5/26... at least that is what my MA said in an email a couple days ago.

 

Id like to know this very same thing.... I was told my All4 would be at the dealer on 5/23... guess what? Still at the Balt VDC...

 

Sorry if I was unclear, Pumpkinhead has been at the Baltimore VDC since 5/10.

 

Wow... Sorry to hear that. Sounds like there might have been some damage for them to keep it that long... I hope not.

 

OMG... dont tell me that...5 state murder spree... Mine arrived at the VDC on the 21st and was told it would be at the dealership today....ugh...

 

Sorry to hear that, you would think that with the commissions these people make on the cars that they could keep us informed.

I just got off the phone with my MA, she states that the delay on my MINI is the options that are being installed there. The only thing left for the dealer to do is install the Aero Kit. The parts are here and are in the paint shop. They are expecting the car on the 26th. I have no nails left to bite or hair left to pull out.

 

Flew over Brunswick on the way to Norfolk and saw the Bishu Highway anchored offshore. It is now headed into port and our Roadster should come off to it or tomorrow. I've ordered all my goodies and just need the car. Getting close.

Soon to be a first time MINI owner! Always loved them but never considered one since I need a 4 door and AWD (for kids and New England weather). They fulfilled my dreams with the MCC!

It is on the way, expected here next week. Today I asked my MA for the VIN so I can try and track it.

I must say the waiting is unbearable!

Could you pls explain how you saw Bishu anchored, just being curious....

Hopefully our MCS will also go through immigration and customs pretty soon and head towards the great State of Texas

As of 9:03pm CST, it seems like Bishu Highway is finally docked at Colonel’s Island Terminal, Port OF Brunswick, GA

 

Glad to hear it was not damaged in transport... now to just wait a few days more.

 

I got the position from Marinetraffic.com prior to taking off from Jacksonville, noting it was anchored just offshore Brunswick, sat in a right window seat, and was able to see three ships tied up at the terminal and Bishu Hwy off the coast. I was in Norfolk in time to watch it sail into the terminal tonight. I have made that flight many times and it's really easy to see Brunswick and the terminal.
