M V Aphrodite Leader in port at Panama Canal and waiting transit Feb 5. Could be delayed by heavy traffic. My Chili Red Justa is on it.
ETA Port Heuneme around Feb 14-16?

Yea, jon. That is a possibility with the heavy traffic around the Pan Canal right now. Transit could get delayed. The Aphrodite is booked for transit early tomorrow but subject to traffic load. You can use the ship tracker to check out it's at anchor position. Zoom in.

Ahhh... I was so close to figuring that out. Yup, heading to Port Hueneme. It arrived in Southampton on the 2nd and I've heard that some cars can sit for a couple weeks. I sure hope Mini Z doesn't get struck waiting.

In Lake Gatun. This will take hours.

Anyone else on the Florida Highway?

K-line ships are so hard to track. Anyone else on the 'Florida Highway?'

Waiting for my Absolute Black 2012 Countryman.
This will be my 3rd Mini!

Looking at this schedule for arrivals at Port Hueneme, CA, I see at least 4 vessels that have bmw/mini or wwl mentioned in February 5- March 3 period. My car is due in 22 Feb. so it should be on the Platinum Ray. The Platinum Ray goes on to Tacoma on 26 Feb.

Lots of bananas coming in there also; check your car for the stray tarantula!

I can't pull up the schedules for some reason... Tells me the session has timed out. It took me a little bit to have a meltdown but thanks for setting me straight!

I emailed my MA and surly hope to hear back from him regarding which ship Mini Z will be on. I'm not holding my breath though...he must be a very busy man!

I feel bad for my poor husband...He is so sick of hearing the twice daily report.

Alas! We're "out of range", again! But at least we have a solid ETA for the VDC in Cali.

Update: It has its boarding pass for the Sagittarius Leader. Should be on the west coast on 3-1-12. I have a feeling I'll be giving coworkers rides around the block that Monday morning.

It seems incredible that we can't follow a ship across the Atlantic Ocean in this day and age. (or up the Pacific to Cali)Perhaps we could petition BMW to get a better tracking system in place. A simple thing like broadcast weather updates with position would be easy. Ships do this now but infrequently. The cost would be minimal.

Hey guys! Good news! The next round of mini's finished production over the weekend. My chocolate beast is on the vessel "Toronto" scheduled to arrive in NYC on Feb 16th!

Once you get your vin number from Mini you can find your vehicle here!

Then you can track the ship here!

I'm not impressed by my MA. He acts like an "order taker" and not an informed source. No help actually following a Mini order. No Emails. No calls. No help.
Is this typical in other Mini owners experience?

I felt that way about my first MA in 06. I heard from him the day after I left my deposit and about 4 days before it arrived.

This time, she has been okay. Meaning she gets back to about a week later if I email her. I don't think she knows much about Minis. I knew more than her when it came to specs and even the car in general. She at least got me my Production Number, which I can do everything myself thanks to this forum.
