Could you see it booked thru WWL cargoID? or somewhere else

bouncing around WWL site I found http://sagaweb.2wglobal.com/AppSched...RouteSearch.do which if you click North Amer. Europe Inbound and it gives the scheduel for several ships so you can try to guess which boat you might be on. or do a search by ports.

i've got it bad, I'm tracking a ship that is coming into Bremerhevan hoping that my mini will get on the boat.

FYI: for those waiting for a boat, do not go see the movie "Contraband" as it is about smuggling on a shipping vessel and all I thought about was my Mini being loaded and shipped!

 

I placed my order 1/7/12 for CR/B Justa hatch Connected in Portland. Told three months to wait :( Status is still "on order".....
The wait better be worth it!!

 

Yup, through he WWL cargo id...we did not make the boat that was leaving port a few days after our cars (grips03 and mine) arrived at the port. We made it on the following one. It showed up on the manifest three days prior to leaving port.

 

Our little blue coupe is on that ship too. It was fun tracking it in the channel. Looking forward to seeing it show up again near Panama.
Placed the order on 11/4/11. Patience is a virtue I'm told.

 

Not the happiest or am I just expecting too much?

Since receiving an email requesting I sign and fax back a Vehicle Inquiry Report on 1/11/12 (which should have been done on the 7th when Mini Z was ordered) and faxing it back the next day, I have yet to hear from my MA. The email:

Here is your build. Once you approve it I will forward you a production number.

Ok.... The signed VIR was faxed back the next day but it DID have the production number on it. I've emailed him to see if he received the fax and when the production week would be, no reply. Today I called and he is out of the office.....grrrr.....

Boy do I feel VERY Lucky. I decided I wanted a Mini and. a red convertible cooper s. Went to the dealer to look at them and there was one on the lot ready to go. 2 days later I drove out with it. I am now seeing how lucky I was.

I could have driven out with one there but it was loaded down with all kinds of options I didn't need or want (ie..couldn't afford). Plus.... I really wanted Connected and it didn't have that, from what I've heard you cannot add it aftermarket.

so I wait, and wait, and wait.....

 

Turandot left Southhampton today. Getting close now.

 

"ALL ABOARD" the Turandot!! My baby is saying hello to her other fellow MINI passengers. This is my 2nd MCS. My first was an 07 Laser Blue. Loved it! But, had the dreaded cold start issues. Sold her last March and dreaded it ever since. Even with those issues....I longed for another one. I just missed driving her. SO MUCH FUN! My husband couldn't stand me in MINI withdrawal and for our 25th wedding anniversary agreed to get me another. The other day my husband said I haven't seen you this happy since your last MINI.

Finally heard back from my MA. Says Mini Z is scheduled for production the first week of February.
Ugh. I was hoping to be driving it late March :(

 

My all-black S hatch is sitting at the port waiting for the Tristan to pick it up tomorrow. Anyone else on that ship?

Thanks, B13mini It is very exciting! I've been diving into the latest car care products and dreaming about detailing her when she arrives. I'm off to the "Car Washing for the non-OC" forum.....great info!

 

How long does it take for the WW track and trace site to update once your ship leaves Southampton? The ship Tristan, which is supposed to have my MCS on it, is making its way out of Southampton currently, but the track and trace hasn't updated, still saying "received at terminal" to be put on Vessel Name Tristan. Hopefully its not on Tristan's next journey a month from now!!

 

my VIN showed up this morning, but the dates were 17/18 for booked/loaded and the boat was almost at the next port. It could be different as mine was a countryman out of Bremerhevan, I think the southampton may be different

havent heard from my MA about it, but he has been good emailing once a week on fridays typically. Ask MINI = still waiting at port

 

For me it updated that it was booked 3 days before it loaded and then it said loaded 1 day before it left.

 

MINI #5 is on it's way...

BRG/B MCS w/sports pack, sports suspension, ipod/bluetooth, cloth, black stripes/black conical spokes, rear fog light.

Ordered 12/28. Into production 1/8, completed on 1/16. Onboard the Asian Vision out of Southhampton 1/18, which just left Spain & will hit the Panama Canal on 1/31. Port Hueneme on 02/09. Then the most frustrating part of the wait---just how long will it take to get out of the VDC
