Same happens all the time the Sail WX gets turned off and you have to catch the live AIS from shore when it goes theough the Panama Canal and/or gets close to port. Yoy should see it from Halifax tomorrow.
"My" ship, the Mignon is currently off the coast of Oregon on her way to Tacoma. She dropped my Mini Coupe S (MCCS) off at Port Hueneme along with 600 of my closest friends.

 

I know what you mean. Comet took 13 days to make to the dealer. The dealer ordered the wrong mirror caps so now I can't pick Comet up until tomorrow.

But soon. Soon.

 

We ordered Hobbes with black mirror caps but the dealer didn't have them so they let us take him home with the stock caps. Our MA is coming to our house to install the black ones once they come in. That's service!!

 

Well I could have picked up Comet, but then I would have to come back. No one offered to install them at my house. Oh well. Monday is almost here.

 

Yeah, we're lucky. Our MA is in the next town over and offered to come by. Have fun tomorrow!

 

any magic words get a staus code from ASKMINI? When I call they are pretty much like the OL and I dont want to pester my MA more than once or twice a week

 

I never got status codes from the askmini reps and I'm not sure they do that anymore. My car sat at ON ORDER for about 2 weeks on the OL even though the ASKMINI reps had it at SCHEDULED FOR PRODUCTION since the day after I got a PON. Once I got a VIN on the OL it was about a week till it was on a truck heading to the port of exit. Once it was actually in production the ASKMINI reps were able to tell me at what stage it was ie. "in the paint shop", etc. Actually it I was told it was in the paint shop for about 6 days until the next time I called and they said it was on it's way to port.

Now it's about 4 more days till my Mini gets to Baltimore and I'm hoping for a very nice Birthday present.

 

My car has been delivered to the dealership!! Now I'm just waiting for a call to tell me to come get it. This is KILLING me. I've had a stress/excitement migraine for the past 2 days!

Hang in there danigurrl! The worst part of the entire ordeal is over...I feel your pain and went through it myself, poor thing. Once your baby gets here it all melts away and you are at peace with your new Mini.

 

My MA called me last week when the ship docked and said the car would be delivered to Inskip Mini on Saturday or Monday. I checked the OL this morning, just for fun, and it said Jack had already been delivered to the dealership. I emailed my MA to confirm this was accurate and asked if I can pick up Jack tomorrow.

I hate waiting. This is how I feel:

 

My Mini went into production/ got a VIN on wed. i'm hoping for a similar time line to yours TerminalVel. to get to port.

This is re-donk-ulous. The car was released to the carrier on the 9th and it's fallen in a black hole. Oh the ticky-tocky is painful! Nobody knows where she is so I'm 'hoping' that she caught the boat and they just didn't update the statuses. It's kinda weird because several of the dealers cars are "missing" with productions 1+ week before mine.

Le sigh.

 

I assume you know the VIN for your MINI? You can go here: https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/o...uickSearchPage and enter the VIN into the Cargo ID field to see if it's booked on a ship. From there, you can see what the sailing schedules are here: http://sagaweb.2wglobal.com/AppSchedules/.

Depending on your arrival port, you can enter the info into the site and see when ships are leaving out of Southampton. FYI, it looks like the following:

• Platinum Ray departing 12/21
• Toronto departing 12/23
• Morning Composer 1/1/12

Let's hope for the "Platinum Ray"

 

Another bit of info from the WW site is the ability to see all the other Mini's that are on your ship. Of course the most important thing is to see that all important phrase "loaded on vessel" but if your bored and need something to occupy your wait why not.

Go to the track and trace section and type in your VIN in the cargo area and click "track". When your info comes up go to the "booking number" and copy it. Open a fresh "track and trace" page and paste that number into the booking number area. Click track. It will take you to a page that lists all of the Mini's on your ship.

The depressing part is seeing all the "returned to shipper" slots. There are 373 Mini's booked on my ship with 19 returned to shipper.

 

Yah, WW doesn't have the car (at least not that VIN) and if K-Line has it, they haven't updated the dealership systems. It's weird because all of MoD's allocation for right in that time frame are "missing".

called Askmini, The date of completion is 01/09/2012. so I think I'm looking at a feb delivery now.
