You start by posting pictures.
By deciding if your MINI is to be kept in pristine condition or is it just a transportation box.
If A then learn everything you can from Detailing 101.
NEVER take it thru a car wash or let 'friends' drive it (if you question that just watch one episode of Funniest Home Videos).
Add SooperCooperInfo.com to your favorites.
Take every negative thing you read herein with a huge grain of salt. Sour grapes make for a very poor diet.
Find a club near you and become one with Motoring.

You guys are incredibly interactive, I love it! I just purchased a 2004 Mini Cooper (Non S) And I f***ing love it! Greatest car I ever owned! This is definetely my love followed closely by my girlfriend and guitars. I went through a car wash and got splashed in the face with water! So i decided to wax and wash myself. Looks pristine! If anyone has any tips or anything or just want to start a convo please message me! I'd love to talk MINI!
How do i find a club near me?

Signature and Location

Sounds like you're gonna be a big fan of NAM now. Might I suggest adding your cars details to your signature and adding your location to your profile. Will make it easier on others if they know what you have and where you live. Plus then you don't have to keep answering the question "what kind of MC is it" or "where do you live"

Congrats on the purchase

Congratulations on your MINI. I can tell you love your little car. Used to do my cars at the handheld pressure washer places untill one time it flew out of my hand and kept beating me on the head untill I could get hold of it again. Didn't want to repeat that and especially don't want to watch MINIKINS get beaten severely.

you can start finding a club here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...nal-forums-98/ But don't be discouraged if they don't post much, that doesnt mean they're not active.... just find their website.
