Yeah...wife and I went trigger-happy with the packages , she wanted the cold and convenience, while I the sport. In the end, it was a mutual decision.

From the time the car was ordered, we're now entering the 8th week, and it looks like I'll be getting mine later this week.

Hmm...my estimated delivery date just moved to today...Pretty sure that's not happening.

 

Is there a way to see where the ship is once it moves 'out of range' on that marinetraffic.com site? I tried the Sailwx one, and that one stopped working a day before the marinetraffic one did.

 

For Undine, when it was in range of marinetraffic.com, the sailwx.com didn't work. But once Undine was out of marinetraffic.com, salwx.com worked again.

 

Guess I'm having bad luck with the ship then. Sailfx stopped working right as the ship left port, and marinetraffic kept working till it was just past teh western edge of england. And none of them work now, so I haven't been able to track the ship since last Friday.

 

It was the same with the Madame Butterfly. Once it left the English Channel didn't see it again until early this morning (near panama).

 

That's weird....I was able to track Undine across the Atlantic.

 

For once, OL's updates quickly. My Mini arrived at the Port H on Apr 23. I just checked the status in OL. It says it is at the distribution center. And when I click on "Review order detail" it says Estimated Delivery Date of Apr 27, 2011. But there's a disclaimer that says "This date is only an estimate. Contact your dealer for specifics."

 

That's what it says on mine too. So our cars might really be on the same truck.

 

Mine still says En Route. Which means I'll probably get a call from the dealer today that it's ready to be picked up.

Owner's Lounge has been a week behind for me, on average.

 

For me, OL says Awaiting Transport, ASK MINI says In transit to the port of exit... >< Hope it gets on PORGY!

I'm with you, NavyNUKE. I keep hearing "In transit to the port of exit" but I'm hoping it boards the Tarago, which is supposed to be outbound today.

Did you happen to see that the Porgy was pushed back to tomorrow, though?

Do you get anything when you plug your VIN into the 2wglobal tracking website? I'm still getting naught, which is making me nervous about it making the ship today.

Don't worry about it....my Mini was sitting at the docks for a few days prior to the ship arriving. If my memory serves me correct, WW's site didn't show my Mini till a day before shipping....or maybe the day of shipping. I forgot....but in anycase, it was very close to the day the ship departed.

 

He's saying his ship is set to leave today.. lol

 

I'm not terribly worked up about it. If it doesn't make it on the Tarago today, there's always Integrity on Thursday!

Dumb question: You're sure that you entered the VIN correctly?

 

Not a dumb question. I've triple and quadruple checked it because you can't copy and paste from the OL, though. I'm giving up hope of it getting out today.

 

According the W2's website I'm "booked" & "received" on Toledo. I finally realize why you all get so pumped about watching the live feed video. I just logged in and saw that the boat is just a big party.

PS - the video has lots of profanity so put in your ear phones in if you're at work (but who hasn't heard this song!?!?)

 

Are you positive it's not going to be on a K-Line ship?

I was tracking the AIDA's progress and checking for my VIN on that site only to find out that my MINI had gotten on a K-Line ship two days earlier, which doesn't have a VIN check.

I got that information from my MA.

 

It's going to Baltimore which, according to this, is a WW route. I'll have to ping my MA and see if she knows anything I don't.

Edit: I see now that K-Line stops in Baltimore, too, but I don't think the timing checks out.
