Which is fine. I'm actually not ready to pick it up today. So busy and don't have any arrangements made for other car. But that doesn't mean I won't do a drive-by at the dealership.

That's seems odd. She should be able to log into the computer to see what the schedule is. My MA was able to do that while I was on the phone with him. But I guess it doesn't matter if you can't go to pick it up.

If I were any more obsessed, I would have done that.

Well the MINI "missed the boat" today. Apparently, it was terrified of the possible splash of green and white paint from its excited brothers. So, to improve karma I will be consoling and advising to those on the next boat whenever that is scheduled to leave Southampton for NY.

Enjoy your rides and try to be kind to folks on the roads. The part that never ceases to amaze me in my 05 Vette is those folks that look me directly in the eye when they are waiting to make a right turn in front of me and just walk there car directly in front of me.

Well seeing as mine has to come all the way to CA via the Panama Canal, I wouldn't be surprised to see you posting up pics before me.

Well, guys & gals, I ordered my MCS four-and-a-half weeks ago. The MA told me not to expect it before the end of May. ASK-MINI reports it as back in England waiting for a ship. The OL shows it at the VDC. Imagine my surprise when the MA called today to tell me the car had just arrived.

Bottom line: There doesn't appear to be any consistency. Be patient and hope for surprises, I guess. I know that's not what a lot of people want to hear, but dutifully checking the OL doesn't really accomplish anything.

Hi...I picked up my Clubman today. It's laser blue body and roof!! It's so nice! I still can't believe how fast they got it from the VDC to the dealer.

Yeah NavyNUKE, I got LB up the ying yang....It's a lot better than what I originally imagined. The LB is pretty noticeable and under the sun. Makes the car stand out. I have a bunch of coworkers lining up for a car ride today. I'm making all the tall people sit in the back.

Wow, I've been a diehard CR fan for a long time, but that's gorgeous. Almost almost makes me wish I'd ordered LB.

I'm scheduled to pick up my Chili Red S this afternoon. Its been at the port since Friday, so I'm hoping it gets all squared. Otherwise I'll be leaving my Wrangler behind and driving a loaner MINI an hour back home.

My current Wrangler is almost EXACTLY the same as the MINI Laser Blue, so I just didn't want to do the same color twice in a row. I almost always buy bright red cars when I can though.
