Wow...that's a long time between finals. Just curious, what engineering degree are you getting??

I got a BS in EE, from San Jose State University.

 

Well classes don't end until the 10th but all but one of my classes have "in class" finals, my only final just happens to be the last day of "finals week"

I'm getting a dual BS Nuclear/Mechanical, one of my roommates, along with my best friend from home are both EEs

 

Dual BS?! You like to torture yourself?? That's crazy!

Half way thru my BS degree, I was ready to get out.

 

No . She sat by the Gatun locks for about 12 hours. Left there around 2:30PM (all times are MDT) and tracked her up to the Pedro Miguel locks (5:45PM). I was offline when she finally went through the Miraflores locks (around 7:00PM). She left AIS tracking around 1AM.

Do you remember on what day the Undine left Panama? My rough calculation put the Panama->Port Hueneme travel time at 7 days (@ 16.6 knots).

BTW, congrats on the fast delivery! Hope they turn my Clubman S around that fast

 

Undine left Panama on April 14.

 

Hah, it's not a double, I only have to take like 4 extra classes.

 

Two pieces of good news today!

1. Searching my VIN on 2wglobal.com finally returns a result, showing the booked on the Integrity.
2. Even better, it leaves port tomorrow, a day ahead of the previous schedule!

Color me pumped.

Sooo... my Xterra is at the dealership getting some stuff done and I've got a '11 Nissan Altima loaner car. It's got this thing similar to Comfort Access... has me wishing I would've spec'd it to my MINI... lol

 

I've gone back and forth on wishing I had ordered the whole "Connected" package

 

See I already had Connected spec'd by itself, I was $750 away from Comfort Access and all that autosensing autodimming stuff, which I didn't think I needed. =P

 

I honestly doubt that either of our cars will seem at all imperfect once the keys are in hand.

 

Its driving me crazy that I can't see the ship on sailwx and have no idea if its ahead, behind or right on schedule.

But I should have just 1more week of waiting. In the meantime, I've been having fun trying to come up with vanity plates for the car for the past 3weeks now. I had a list of 20 or so, but its narrowed down to 3 after getting feedback from friends over the past week. I'm still not sure which to go with yet and may have to just flip coin if I still havent decided when the car comes in.

I thought about getting a plate "BIGTHING" but I decided against it and am just gonna stick with New Yorks, FXX####, it'll be ugly and yellow no matter what =P

Hah, yea I checked into that 16:41 UTC/GMT was 12:41 EST, about 33 minutes after I posted.

 

Actually, I just realized Southampton is BST, which is an hour ahead of UTC so that's likely it.

 

The last I heard from my MA was on Friday that the ship had docked...which I already knew. She says it will 'take a couple days to clear customs and be released to a carrier', then she'd have a better idea when it would arrive.

I don't know what days she works, so it's possible she was not around yesterday.

I sent an email to her asking if it's been released to a carrier yet. I drove by the dealer this morning and didn't see my car on the lot, in the showroom, or 'round back...but I don't know where the truck drops them off. The showroom was empty, though. Maybe they've made room for a delivery today.
