tada.... just pick up mine at the dealership yesterday.
and it was as sweet as Fresh strawberry dipped into Godiva chocolate!
had some issues with the discounts (monthly specials: in which I didn't get to get it = $750) in which I should've just walked away... but after seeing my Chillibomb and sitting on it, I couldn't wait no more... (plus my wife was there).

so never take your spouse when working with final numbers...

Gorgeous! Very well spec'd my friend. I didn't realize that you'd opted for the RR color line. I think its much sharper looking. I did the same thing except my dash pieces are the piano black pieces just because that's what's standard on the JCW. I like! I rate your ride as a certified WIN! Enjoy!

 

Nice looking MINI! I didn't even notice your wife was in it until I looked at the pictures a second time haha . How did the monthly special work? And if you don't mind me asking, why didn't you get the discount?

"Monthly special" refers to what mini offers for that month on their website.
Dealer was refused to give that special because they were saying that it will be selling the new vehicle for loss since I bought mine on invoice price. (about $2900 off from MSRP).

I could have pushed them little more by taking their time or walking away but was getting hungry and I didn't wanted my wife to starve so ...

As I mentioned before do not go to the dealership on empty stomach. Sometimes they automatically assume you are gonna take the deal no matter what... Especially when you ordered yours.
Remember you are the buyer and you always have a upper hand because it is your money.

Does anyone know mini supports multi language on it's display?

 

So ok...I'm confused. I see throughout this thread people posting about their ETA and what step of being built their MINI is at. I've been poking around the OL and I've got to be missing where that info is at. The most detail I can get out of the Order Tracking window is the details of my order and that mine is "Scheduled for Production". Where do I find the info on how far along mine is and what the ETA is on it?

I can't speak for 2011 cars. However, on my friend's 2010 MINI with Nav, song titles and artist names written in Chinese characters will not display on the screen when connected to an ipod using the MINI ipod cable. The sceen displays blank spaces.

 

Thanks! The ETAs that this system gives, are they the ETA on each stage of the build, or when it told me Feb 1st, is that the ETA for my car to be finished?

I was just on OL this morning and I noticed the "track your MINI" link is missing. I don't know if this is a fluke or if it's down for an overhaul or if it's just down for good.
