First time poster here; waiting for my new MINI (aka Sir Winston) to be delivered. I can't wait! The forums here re tracking your order and the distribution process have been very helpful.

 

Is Sir Winston in the paint shop today along with my car? 5/17 is my estimated completion date. Are you in the US? East coast/West coast?

 

Indeed he is in the paint shop as of this morning (and also when I checked again earlier this evening haha). I am in southern California, so Sir Winston will be arriving via Port Hueneme.

 

I'm near Sacramento and my still to be named MINI will likely be on the same ship. I need to send an email to my MA requesting the VIN.

Welcome! What will Sir Winston look like?

 

Sir Winston is/will be: Chili Red MCSa with White roof; white bonnet stripes; cold weather and premium packages.

According to the automated line this morning, Sir Winston is still in the paint shop; however when I spoke to a customer relations adviser he told me that SW has left the paint shop and is in the final stage of production heading to the quality control check....estimated birthday is today!

 

So apparently my baby is waiting for a ride to Southampton. Per my review of the WW schedule it looks like the next Southampton to Port Hueneme ship is the Medea, which departs SH on 25th May and will arrive in PH 16th June. Hopefully he'll get to SH in the next 6 days. hsautocrosser, is your baby completed too?

 

Automated line today says "waiting to be released to the carrier..."

I'm also assuming the Medea on the 25th.

 

Sir Winston's cruise to California departed Southampton yesterday. He's aboard the Medea (WW line). Is anyone else's baby on board with him?

Ha, the automated line still says "Your vehicle is being transported to the port of exit." I believe it's already exited!
