Nice pictures. Where's the JCW logo on the lower front grille? Did you ask for it to be removed?

How much was the sirius install after delivery?

Thank you.

Nope. It was not my idea.

I was told that they no longer include the logo badge on the front grill of this style of aero kit any longer. I think it comes on the one with the painted fender pieces though.

I plan to go get my MA to help get me one to put on it soon.

Sweet! I've racked 16+ hours already and am past the break-in and having a BLAST! Hope you are too!

Picked up my car today... No pics yet - went to dinner with the wife instead and it was dark by the time we got home.

On the whole I'm loving it, but have to take it back friday to get the sport stripes installed (they forgot 'em) and wheels swapped (they put the wrong ones on the order but are going to swap them for the right ones off the lot - service was already closed). Can't wait to get past the break-in period so I can stop babying it - car wants to rev... Hoping I get used to the hill start assist - since I'm used to driving a manual on hills I'm having a hard time with it. Killed the engine ~4 times getting it up the driveway into the garage. Wish there was a way to disable it.

Message on the Owner's Lounge "Track Your MINI" page (yes I still try to track my car on there. why? I don't know.)

"Not seeing what you’re expecting? Don’t panic. Thanks to a technical wormhole, the information about your vehicle’s status or options might not accurately reflect your order. We’re already in the process of sorting it out, but until then, if you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact your dealer."

I saw this too. I only try to track the car for pure entertainment value. It always makes me laugh.

Happy to hear your mini finally got to you. Sorry you have to deal with service on the stripes and swap on the wheels but it will pass soon.

The break-in is a bit frustrating but it too will pass.

Congrats!

We were just talking about the hill hold 'feature' in the March support thread. I can see how if you are a new MT driver, it would be nice to have to help you learn, but if you already know how to drive a MT, it is weird getting used to.

One thing I have started doing is releasing the brake ~2 seconds before I want to move. Thats about as long as the hill assist will hold the car before it starts to roll back slightly like a MT car without this option.

Like you said, its just something we'll have to get used to.

Congrats on the new ride!

grue - Congrats on getting the new car. Having to go back a time or two can be frustrating. I have to go back in a week or so when I get all the mod parts in.

Let's see the pics...

Mine was supposed to be in yesterday but my MA says it may be a couple days - apparently the "special" steering wheel is installed at the port (?) and is on order. Arghh.

OMG! This is so tough or whatever the right word is here . . . I think this is an awesome look, color, build . . . I like these very much. If I were getting a hardtop - this would be it hands down.

Congrats!

wrx_xb9r, you have this same ride as grh1950? These are AMAZING!

Well mine came without the special steering wheel and had no port delay. My MA is checking on it so yours may be waiting and mine may have to be put on later at the Dealer.

Some picks are https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...70-post31.html

I can take any picture you want. It is sitting outside.

6322 Verts are fun also. We had an S for 3 years. Wife traded it in for a JCW Clubbie. I had MINI envy for too long and had to get my own. The year and 4 day was too long though.

For those interested here are pics of BRG v. Connaught Green.

The BRG was sitting outside the dealer when I was leaving with mine so decided to do a quick couple of shots with it.

Yay the Medea finally set sail and is on its way west! My Cooper S is on board too, probably seeking out the buffet lines.

Hey all! I picked up Violet earlier today! She was awesome to drive. I am absolutely thrilled that I got her. Hubby says she's boring and needs stripes. I'll have to do something about that.
