Weeks 15 - 20 (Apr 5 – May 15, 2010) Support Group
I've got floor mats, a short antenna, some stickers and a couple of different sets of alternate mirror caps to try on in the office closet. Had a "Platypus" no-holes license plate bracket from Craven Speed that I bought back in March right after ordering, but I just shipped it out today - sold it in the Marketplace (decided I liked the plate better in the middle, and since I don't plan on moving out of Texas I'm stuck with the plate anyway).
I've also switched my primary Amazon Wish List to a new one I created that's full of stuff for the MINI. Viva la Universal Wish List Button!
This should be my last MINI-less weekend. Ran the truck through a car wash and filled it up with Premium gas on the way home from work. Going to change the oil and add some fuel stabilizer on Sunday... Getting it ready to 'put it in mothballs' in the garage, relegated to trips to Lowes and such.

I'm on the TIJUCA as well. One site says it reaches Baltimore tomorrow evening. Funny the OL status still says scheduled for production. Mine has to go to Richmond VA, how about you? Then they have to put on the JCW suspension. Maybe next week?

Heh heh thanks! So excited about your new MINI! My old MINI is finally running again and driving it around makes me not want to part with it, lol. But I finally got to drive a Clubman S last week and loved it too.

JCW suspension is usually dealer installed. I am going aftermarket coilovers for very similar money. OL is useless.
About the time mine gets here and gets clear bra and suspension work done I have to leave for a week and leave it behind.

My MINI is at the port! Looks like it just missed a bunch of ships though 
. I'm guessing it'll have to wait around until the 24th for the Undine, unless I'm misreading the Kline schedule and they have something sooner.

OMG! For those of us on the Tijuca?! Tijuca has already made it 1/2 way up the Chesapeak! Holy cow! The ironic thing is that I used to live in MD, and where the ship is is where I used to fish for Rockfish!
Well shoot - edited to add that it won't show where the ship is! Looks like an anchor on the map. The anchor is just below the "n" in Washington.

vesseltracker.com - I set up an account there, but the strange thing is that it only showed up for a couple minutes, and now it's gone again. Unless they had bad info. They go by even ship sightings (I think). sailwx goes by weather reportings by the ships only.
But like I said, now it's gone.
Here's how much of a nerd I am. I measured how far the ship went in 3 hours. The last report was last night. It made total sense that if they kept the same speed that they would be in the Chesapeak by now. And that's what the one map showed. But now it's not bringing up a reading again....

WW updated their website last night to arrival of 5/18 (yesterday). I wonder if it's safe to say that if not already that our cars are being offloaded as I type this? Our cars could be on American soil!!
This all still seems like a dream to me. I can't believe I will be back in a MINI. I keep waiting to wake up.

My new baby is "on the way". I've recieved the production number although no production date has been assigned.
Any idea when a new support group will be forming?
I'm ready to start this journey.
My Mini will complete our family's set. My wife, daughter and son all drive their Mini's. Now it my turn!

I have no idea when I'm getting my Mini. The ship has been delayed several times. Looks like the delay total will be 2 days if nothing else happens. I was hoping to get it this weekend but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. So I'm not sure when I'll be able to get her now.

Definitely do not rely on the Owners Lounge to give you accurate info. My MINI is already on US soil, and the OL still says, "On Order" haha
So ask your MA or talk to a live person at 866-ask-mini for up to date info.

I think I have Mini fever...
I haven't even gotten my 2010 R57 HzB yet and I'm already on the configurator making an R57 Cooper S - Pepper White, Hot Chocolate soft top, HC interior - oak finish. I can't wait to see what some of the new options will be in the next few years...
I wish I got the aero kit installed on my HzB. the PW i just configured looks awesome with it.
