Hello, newbie from Central Texas

I ordered a Pure Silver 2009 Mini Cooper S back in SEP. Finally, it arrived this month. I'm very pleased with my Silver Critter, aka Cooper S. Handles great, and very good acceleration. I've owned many Fbodys [Camaro, Firebird, includes Trans Am], and recently sold my 2001 Corvette. No regrets with my Silver Critter purchase. I really enjoy little cars these days. My wife owns a 2004 S2K.

I look forward to learning more & more about these small but mighty cars, as well as chatting with ya'll in general on North American Motoring.

Appreciate the welcome.

I'll admit the acronym NAM is kind of unsettling but I will just have to consider the application and keep it in the proper context.

LOL, acronyms are way of life in the military, as well as in the medical field.

OU is better now than when they lost to UT. Although, I'd still favor my Longhorns in a UT v. OU rematch. BTW, UT should have beat TT by either the interception that could-a, should-a been, or by tackling Crabtree... GEEEZ.

Yet, the current BSC system is ridiculous. UT beat OU, fact! Therefore, UT should be playing in the Big 12 Championship against Missouri.

IMHO, division 1 college football needs [badly] a 16 tier playoff.

I agree we do need a playoff. UT beat OU, TT beat UT and OU hammered TT when they were #2. I think everyone would love to see OU and UT play again. It is such a great rivalry! I have to admit I did love it when UT beat USC!
