Production completed yesterday. Hopefully I can catch that boat going out on the 5th.

 

I'm in the paint shop today (an extra coat of BRG please) so I guess I'll be finished on the 5th? They still don't have an estimated completion date. I just want to make the boat on the 8th.

 

I'm being transported to the docks today - hoping to make the July 10 ship to the west coast. If I miss the 10th, I will wait for the next west coast ship which leaves the 18th of July.

 

were do you find out about the completion date? the MA or OL?

Well all, car's assembled, passed QA, on its way to the shipper; I made Week 27.

Now comes checking the WW site to see when my car is allotted to a ship!!!

It finally came up. I missed the Electra but I'm on the Independence II, three days behind you!

 

nclin, what day was your mini completed? I keep checking the ww site for the boat, but still nothing! I was told I would be completed on 01JUL, and called yesterday and they said it is finished.

 

If you cannot find your car on WW you may be on the K-Line instead. They don't have a VIN tracking system :(

My MINI was completed on July 1. It was transported to the port on July 2. Keep trying the ww site. Mine showed booked this morning early.

 

I think WW handles all the NY cargo. Hopefully you'll get on the Independence II with my "Stella Blue". There's still time!

 

And we got nothing but the automated response and the OL until MONDAY!

Just found this morning that Maggie Mae is booked on the Independence II! Very exciting. She docks at Charleston July 19, and from there Winston Salem is only hours away. I may be driving by the end of July.

 

We made the Independance II, arriving in NY 14JUL. Time to sell our car!!!

866Ask-Mini tells me i'm at the dock but still not showing up on tracking. Though I am coming to West coast so I have a few days before the ship leaves.

 

Siera Nevada Highway came into it's parking spot in Southampton at about 2 am this morning their time to load a bunch of Minis. My Mini has been at the dock since Tuesday or Wednesday and is not showing up on the W-W data. So, I am assuming my Mini will be going aboard as well as many of yours. I am told most cars comming to Texas and the South Central US ride the K-Line. Since the K-Line ships don't communicate about cargo, we won't know for sure for a week or so when the info hits the MA's computer. I will think positive and assume she is on the way.

Independence II is comming into Southampton right now for you East Coasters.
