Im in the same boat as you guys! No pun intended I called ASK-MINI today and they said completion date on the 4th, and my baby is sitting at the docks right now waiting to be loaded. I might be going crazy, but I a bunch of Mini's sitting at the South Hampton docks chatting away like in those Chevron commercials. Let's hope our cars get on that next boat to the west coast!!!

I second that - next ship leaves the 10th and I have not had any luck getting any ship info.

Sittin' on the dock of the bay. . .

+1 on the boat ride thing.

I too finished production on July 4th and now waiting the docks chatting with the rest of your Minis. I did check schedules and a boat leaves for Charleston on both the 11th and 12th. I should make one of them.

[fingers rapping impatiently on table waiting for news of sailing]

Yep. Different sort of waiting. The automated system says "released to carrier," so it may not be to the port yet. VIN doesn't come up on WW's site, so it looks like the 12th. Where did you find a Charleston ship for the 11th? K-line? Okay, now I see it-Western Highway, arriving the 24th. That would be good too.

Yep, K-line leaves on the 11th, WW on the 12th. If I've read the schedules correctly, K-line is faster, making the journey west in 11 days vs. WW's 13 days.

The way I figure it, the best shot I have is 1st week of August if I make the K-line boat, 11 days at sea, 3 days at the VDC, and 3 days on a truck to Houston. Thats 17 calendar days. Add a day for sitting around cause someone had to have a coffee break, and that puts me at July 31th.

Worst case is I miss the boat on the 12th, and start drinking heavily. Blackouts will undoubtedly ensue, and I won't even remember that I'm waiting for Bob to arrive. By the time I sober up, go through rehab, and get released, he'll be here.

Either way, I'm in for another 3-4 weeks of waiting.

Mine's on the Independence, heading to Peabody, MA after docking. I'm guessing about a week to get through customs then to the dealer and preped...but I may be hopeful!

I am showing up on W&W for the Isolde. Looks like they added a stop before southampton so its not coming in until the 10th now. But at least I am scheduled. Still have an arrival of the 29th here on the west coast.

I thought I was in week 28 but I guess not! Ordered on 6/23, completed on 7/7 and is currently on FIDELIO to New York. I think I'll be getting my car much sooner than I originally thought. Now if I can just sell my current cars.

(week 27 ended on the 5th.) I'm with you about selling one of my cars...and needing to get my finances in order to pay for it & take delivery sooner than I thought! :D

How does this work? My car was completed on the 4th, got waitlisted on the Fidelio, but other people whose cars were completed on the 7th got on the Fidelio.

Might I suggest to the folks new to message boards that if you aren't utilizing Search (tho you should), to at least read the thread(s) you post in?

It's at the port awaiting a shipping vessel. In the words of Charlie Brown: "Auuuugggghh!"

I don't "wait" well...

I'm waiting too. Been there since Sunday. No word on my ship date (or ship). It's getting hard to watch all my friends from week 27 move to the "All aboard the [your ship name here]" thread.

Tex, you are probably scheduled for the Western Highway on the 11th. I think all the Texas cars go through the Charleston port right?

Horatio / Tex - I believe that most Texas deliveries do indeed go through the Charleston port (but no one has absolutely confirmed this).

I'm a week 26'er who waited at the port for 10 days before finally leaving on the Sierra Nevada on July 5.

Hoonu -- I'm right there with ya! I think the wait on the docks was the most excruciating part.

Another Texan here. My vehicle inquiry report shows me going to Charleston as well. Sitting on the dock... waiting.

Isn't Brunswick, GA closer than SC? I'm in Memphis. Should I be looking at the SC bound ships or the GA bound ships? I would assume GA, but looks like from above what seems most logical is not always what happens...

Also, I didn't get a vehicle inquiry thing from my MA and don't know my port loc. subsequently. I put in my vin in the 'cargo id' box on WW site and it states that no cargo found with that ID. Does that mean that my mini has not even been scheduled on a ship yet? I suppose I should just call my MA tomorrow! AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHH so many things!

Thanks for just letting me vent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
