I figured out my laser blue clubman S was loaded on the Isolde 7/10/08, scheduled to arrive on the west coast in Port Hueme 7/29/08. And then on to Scottsdale MINI in AZ. Anyone else following their MINI on this ship? Can you tell if its left the port yet?

FIGARO does stop in TX
I'm hoping my new addition makes her trip on Figaro on the 17th of July.

 

I'm pretty sure that all Minis must start their journey to the dealer at the VPC (or VDC) first. So even if a ship stops in another place closer to you it won't help.

For example, one ship I saw does stop in Galveston (I could literally drive Bob off the boat) but I am pretty sure Bob will offload in Charleston first, get cleaned up, and then get trucked to Houston.

Just found out from my MA that I made the Western Highway

Expected to dock in Charleston on July 24. This puts end of July in play!

I had completely given up hope of shipping before July 20, so this is makes me happy!

 

Where's the (not so) quietly sobbing in the corner smilie?

 

The OL and ASK MINI still say I'm sitting at the dock - been there since 7/5.

I guess I'll try calling my MA and see if he knows something the OL doesn't...

 

I've called my MA twice to ask about the status of my mini and twice he has blown me off and told me he would call me later about the details, but then never does! I'm soooo frustrated! I don't know if my Mini is at the port or on the ocean! It's not showing up on the ww website, so must be on a k-line or not on a boat yet . Up till now I've had nothing but awesome things to say about my MA! I'm disappointed.

Any one else as impatiently lost as I am?

 

You might try going to the sales manager if your MA is not being responsive. You can usually figure out their email address once you know the code, like firstname.lastname@yourminidealer.com or something like that.

 

Yes, ME! But, I just got some great news. My car is on the Western Highway, bound for Charleston! Set sail on the 11th. So, in spite of not getting information as fast as I really wanted it, this is a good thing. If you're also headed there and were at the port early last week, we may be shipmates! Ping your MA again. Mine said they just updated their information this afternoon.

I wish I was on a WW ship, but hey, at least I am out there in the water on the Western Highway.

 

I just shot my MA a text message as opposed to calling him. I'll see if this works better. We'll see. I'm also texting at the beginning of the day as opposed to near the end of the day. Don't know if that has any bearing on a response or not, but thought I'd change it up a bit.

Owner's lounge still says awaiting transport! This is not fun! I hope that my new nameless mini is ship mates with one of your minis!

Mine still says Awaiting Transport as well, so I wouldn't trust that. Mine was completed on July 3rd and we all know this boat left the 11th, and the OL still says I am on the dock.

If its any consolation, my MA just got the shipping info today and emailed it to me, and the boat is already halfway across the Atlantic.

Looks like if the WH holds its current track, it will miss Bertha to the North and be to the west before she turns back to the north. I was wondering if the ship will stay north for a bit longer, extending the voyage by a day or two.

My MA was staying late to help another customer, probably taking someone else's order! Its all cool!

Well my MA called today to say I'm on the way as well. She couldn't confirm which boat, but it has to be the Western Highway, as I don't show up on WW's cargo manifests. Checking tonight, OL says I'm in transit as well. My MA says I may have it before the end of the month.

 

You Western Highway folks: I linked up a picture of the ship over on the WH thread. I also discovered that the buffet's closed at this time of night...

 

My "Stella Blue" has arrived at the dealer in PEABODY today! I can pick up next week. I'm so excited!

 

The last few miles is taking a lot longer than I expected. Got off the Indi II @ its 1st stop & still not @ the dealership; mgr who takes car of executing the purchase & ext. warranty is overloaded & hasn't talked to me so I could have the info I need to make an educated decision.... hahaha, guess that's what comes w/MINI going through a boom time!

 

WOW! Some of us week 27ers are getting close to deliver. My Clubman will be hitting the Paname Canal tomorrow. My MA sent the financial information and the MINI motoring accessories book. The time is close! Anyone take delivery yet?
