ALL ABOARD THE ISOLDE

Thought I would get this kicked off since I am showing up as booked for the ISOLDE. Looks like the schedule changed and it is not hitting Southampton until tomorrow.

We are still on for a July 29th arrival at PORT HUENEME, CA.

I don't see the ship showing up on the Panama Canal Schedule yet but we should be going through around the 23rd I think.

W&W says I am loaded on the boat. Isolde is scheduled to depart at 1800, with a destination of MANZANILLO.

http://www.ais-live.co.uk/AIS%20Live/aisportsmouth.html

That is the site I was using but I think we will lose tracking on this one once it is out of the southampton area.

This one may give you a little bit longer view

http://www.shipais.com/showship.php?...mmsi=265899000
You can set it to auto select the right map and refresh on the left side.

So far I have not been able to get the ship on sailwx.info. Looks like they have not been sending weather data so far, and the last hit it has for the ship was when it was up in Washington last year. So I don't know how much info we will have once it hits open seas.

Haha not really but unfortunately once the ship is out of range of the AIS transmitters in the UK the only way to track her is if they submit weather info, and then it would be visible on sailwx.info. It looks like they have not submitted weather data since last year though so I think we are out of luck. I will keep an eye on the panama canal schedule and let you know when we show up there.

http://www.boydsteamship.com/daily_traffic_report.htm

I think we should be heading through the canal on the 22nd or late 21st since the ship leaves Manzanillo on the 21st. And then into port on the 29th.

You're telling me I have had my Pontiac up for sale for a month and not one call. And way below blue book too. I may have to break down and sell it to carmax.

Ahoy mates! My laser blue Clubman S is also aboard this ship. I'll be picking him up in Scottsdale, AZ, hopefully early August. I was fortunate to sell my electric blue MCS earlier this month. I've been suffering MINI withdraw every since.
I appreciate the efforts you all have made to obtain this info.

My PW (manual) Clubbie S is also on board, Anyone have a guess as to how long they sit before their loaded on a truck, mine is coming to the Scottsdale, AZ dealer.
I had a 74' Datsun 260Z which I had spent a lot on and was afraid I couldn't sell it, put it on e-Bay and ended up gettting $600 more than my reserve. .
although I still lost a ton of money on it, old cars are like boats u just keep putting money in them.So the next day I went to the dealer and ordered a Clubbie. So in the meantime my wife is driving me around, it got way to hot for my m/c.
And thanks to all for the updates on the progress of the ship and all of the links, much appreciated.

So this is only a guess but I figure we are about here on our little cruise. The distance from southampton to manzanillo port as the crow flies is 4500 nautical miles. We should be a little under half way there. Still no entry on the canal schedule, but it looks like we will only show up there if they reserve a spot. Since they havn't reserved a spot I guess they are just going to chance it :(.

It looks like we should miss Bertha, hopefully this other depression doesn't turn into anything.

Danyes, keep those updates coming, this is becoming an obsession, my wife asked what I was doing and tried to explain it, she just shook her head and walked out of the room!

HAHA your telling me, my wife asked me if I was going to look up where they made the bolts for my car and what type of machine they were made on. I just told her to leave me alone and let me have my fun.
