FINALLY! Picked it up today, what a blast! My dealer is approx 35 miles away so on the way home thought I was "going with the flow" and I was really going 90mph! I slowed down to 80 the rest of the way home. Windows are being tinted tomorrow and will have the invisible bra (or whatever its called) installed Wednesday.

 

Here she is two days old with her new tint.

 

bahollings, she looks good with the tint. Its something i have also been thinking of doing as well. Did you have the dealer or 3rd party install

 

A company here in Az called "A cut above auto styling" came to the house and installed it, price was $162 +tax, and that included a tint stripe across the front windshield, life time warranty, I don't recall what the dealer quoted but it was more than that.
Next monday will have the 3M invisible bra put on, not sure of the proper name, price is $458 (5 year warranty) and that is for the hood, mirrors and bumper. The dealer quoted $779 and after I told him what I was paying he said his cost on the above quote was $475 so it shows you how much some of these mark ups are dealer installed options. One last thing I came in with a check for Capital one with a 4.55% interest for 36 months. They asked me if I would finance it with them for the same interest and I asked them what advantage that would be to me? And 5 minutes later they had a loan of 4.50% not a big difference but every little bit helps.

 

Mods. so far... 4" stubby antenna, 5% sunroof tint, 15% tint all windows, and xpel clear bra film. 18" wheels to come in the next few months. LOVE IT!!!!

 

Friends 09 JCW Hardtop in Laser-Blue/white will be delivered Wednesday. Per the dealer it is on the truck coming towards Denver.

It was hung up getting the JCW Aero kit installed at the VDC. I'm almost as excited as he is to get it.

hang in there man! did you call up your MA and see what the hold up is? hope nothing was seriously wrong with it!

 

MA says the car has been released to the trucking company and is scheduled to arrive at the dealership Friday. I sure hope he's right.

 

After waiting 2 months + 1 week I can tell you its worth the wait. Hang in there. Were all feelin' your pain.

 

The OL updated this morning to reflect the 8-22-08 delivery time given to me by the MA. Sure hope we're motoring this weekend.

 

Finally got it! 22 days at the VDC ..... MA says longest wait he's had, oh well it's over now. 35 miles so far and loving it. We might drive up to the Nethercutt auto museum tomorrow now that we're in that car enthusiast mood. Here's a quick pic from the dealer lot today.
