Well I just called Ask MINI and the nice lady told me that they don't have an official scheduled day for me, but that it looks like they are going to do mine in week 27.


So let's get the week 27 folks talking.

You may be too late to make a change! I just got off the phone with ASK-MINI and they said I'd been "scheduled for production," and that any factory changes would bump me down the line.

So much for upgrading my seats!

Oh I was kidding anyway. I'm checkered all the way!

I already got delayed several weeks because of a mistake in roof color on my order that I caught just after being issued a VIN.

 

Whoof! Several weeks? Nopenopenope, not gonna change nuffin!

 

This has me hoping I might move up as well. Made it all of 3 days before I called Ask Mini. CSR said I was still wk 27 but to call back next week as its possible production date might be moved up a week.

Fingers, toes, and everything else crossed!

I'm still listed as "On Order", but Ask Mini says week 27.

 

I thought I'd check-in here. Just got confirmation from someone @ ASKMINI that I'm expected to be week 27. Let the counting of the minutes/hours/days/weeks begin!


...27 happens to be the date of my birth --month and year withheld to protect the guilty, hehe-- which has worked out pretty well for me so far, so I'll take that as a good sign...

Figured as I had a MCS optioned @ over $31K I might as well spring for a bit more and get the JCW variant and have the 'hotted-up' drivetrain covered under warranty and not feel compelled to 'mod' to get going a few more tics faster that stock right away... we'll see how that goes and how long I can hold-off for...

 

Ordered my MC on Monday got the production number on Tuesday and finally broke down and called after getting limited information from my MA.

The guy at ASK-MINI was real nice (named John I think).

Can someone advise the potential dates that a Week 27 car will be built? Would it be sometime next week?

I am located in the NYC metro area (Northern burbs) Anyone else in Week 27 fromthe Northeast?

Week 27 is the first week in July. We we have Independence Day MINI's (at least here in the US).

27 is also my the day of my birth as well. Pretty cool, I didn't think about it until you said something.

 

Am I seeing double or does week 27 have a split personallity. looks to me like there are two threads.

My "Dash" is scheduled for wk. 26 as well (ordered 6/9, MCS, PW) so she may be keeping Rolo and some of the others as well...so do we now start a Week 26 Support Group? Just wondering!

 

You are not seeing things. I created the other one when I saw no such thread on the front page. Seeing how week 27 was a couple weeks away I assumed that I was the first to be scheduled for that week.

Turns out some clubman folks have been waiting for longer than I expected. I should have scrolled to page 2.

 

My order was placed on 6/9 and I was told today that we will be produced Week 26---YAY!---so I am hoping to see my new baby by the end of July. Or am I being unreasonable?

End of July seems reasonable from what I've been hearing.

But then so why am I week 27 if mine was ordered just two days later... <ugh> Well, that's ok, hoping that continues to be a good number for me...

 

Dont feel so bad. My order was incorrectly entered with a black roof. It had entered scheduled for production. I called and made sure it was changed, and the result was it getting bumped by a couple weeks. I've been stuck on 'Order in' for a week.

 

Yeh, I got bumped or ill-advised; I thought I was 26, but now shows as 27. Better'n 31!

Hi all thought I would post here also, just got my production week lucky 27. So I am hoping for an early August delivery, now I need to offload the old ride, anyone wanna buy a Pontiac

Did I hear it right that the factory goes on a holiday break or something for a couple weeks sometime in July?

 

I don't know what week I am. I ordered on Tuesday and was told I could get production in June but askmini says only that I have no confirmed date. I haven't been this antsy since the birth of my first born. (I was much easier going about the the second.)

 

Sold my '06 Pure Silver MC today (6/20) and and put in my order for an '08 Chili Red MCS in this afternoon - my MA said week 27 production. Here's hoping!

 

Askmini confirmed that I am estimated for week 27. Lets get this done!

 

Mini Usa web has me on order. Automated number scheduled for production with no date. live rep on 800 # said week 27...so here I am...
order on june 7th...wait is killing me already!
