Whoops... there being the 2 Week 27 Support Group threads, I'd better check in here too, this being the original one and all.

Waiting... impatiently. Still about a month and a half until we can expect our cars? That's gunna hurt.

 

When do you fellas think we'll see our status change and get a VIN finally?

 

Just found out that my car should be week 27 too!

 

Guys I hate to bail from the week 27 thread, but I'm hopping on the Week 25 thread. :0 I switched cars to my original order. Good luck and godspeed.

My car should be week 27 - I'm on the east coast though. My car will come in at Charleston where I'll pick it up there at the dealership!

John at 866-ASK-MINI told me today that our Chili Red Cooper Clubman is being built in Week 27!! I'm in Virginia so hopefully the transit time won't be too long.

I'll be monitoring this thread for news and info.

I'm thinking we "week 27'ers" should start seeing the status changed to "scheduled for production" on the ol.miniusa.com site; week 27 starts in 6 days. Let us know if yours changes status.

 

I've heard from one day but less than one week before. Gotta be soon...

 

Just talked to someone at MINIUSA via the 866 # and my Hot Chocolate Clubman S is due to be created the first week of July. Can't wait for my new baby to come across the pond.

 

I put in a little plug to merge the two threads.

Got off the phone from a less-than-satisfying exchange with ASK MINI: The (semi) nice gent on the phone wouldn't confirm or deny anything. According to him, I am still just "on order." The dealer says it changed to scheduled for daily production on the 16th, but hasn't actually entered production, which is what I thought. Still hoping we all get bumped up a few. We'll help the whole supply chain beat their July numbers, OK?

 

Will the "real" week 27 support group please stand up! We don't need two threads - one will do1

 

I also spoke with Ask Mini today. It seems as though we have been scheduled for production since June 9. They don’t yet have an exact date but he kept saying June 30 as the answer to almost every question. He started out saying it would be completed between June 29 and July 5. He also said it should start production any day now. So I am guessing a June 30 completion date but who knows.

If it is July 4th she will be named “Boss”. Since it will be my wife’s daily driver it is appropriate in more ways than one. By the way, she is selling a Porsche 911 (993 C2) to go to the mini. The P car has no room for grand kids in the back seat.

 

You definitely get more updated news with the Ask Mini number than the website. Mine is still showing "On Order" but it is scheduled for production -and they said week 27. Waiting to see when they'll update the website.

Ordered a chili red Cooper Clubman - black top, black bonnet stripes, red/black interior, sunroof, premium, sport, automatic, xenon lights & other add ons.

 

I also have to have room in the backseat for a grand child! A boy- 9 months!

 

still showing on order on web sight. Mini usa # has been saying scheduled for prod. but no date for almost 2 weeks now. Spoke to a very nice girl today who advised showing week 27 still and that by tuesday of next week she thinks she will have date for me
She also said web sight is about 4 to 5 days behind schedule. So speak with a live rep to get correct info...

I've been thinking of a name and since my car should be born during July 4th week I was thinking of "Firecracker Jack" and it's chili red so I thought that might be fitting. What does everyone think?

 

I Just called Mini again. The car went into production today. The completion date is July 1. It is almost time to start looking at shipping sites.

 

I'm starting to get a complex here.

I went to "scheduled for daily production" on the 16th, but nothing since.

Did I mention (recently) that I'm car-less?

 

I think thats a cool name.Mine is suppose to start that week too.But have not come up with a name i like yet.Laser Blue Clubman/silver/bonnets etc .ordered it 29th May long wait.Good luck Firecracker Jack,

 

I like the name. I'd go with it!! My Hot Chocolate Clubman will be called "Count Chocula", I think. Thoughts on that?

Now to find a grille badge with Count Chocula on it..

 

just got off the phone with ASK-MINI - my clubman went into production today with a scheduled completion of July 1st. My long wait is alomost over!
