Just got word from my MA - he emailed me to let me know my car is leaving Charleston on Saturday June 27 and should be in Mentor Ohio by July 1. If all goes well I may be able to pick the car up later in the evening of that day!!

Cool link thanks! But seriously when it's at the parking part of the video and it says you can't open the barn doors, look how close the other car is -- it's almost touching!!! No way would and MINI owner EVER park that close to another car! They are on crack (but right about everything else lol)!

That's weird, if you're in Ohio why wasn't your vehicle offloaded in NY instead of carrying on south in what is effectively the wrong direction?

Oh if only you were correct. You've obviously never driven/parked in New York because parking in such close proximity to the vehicles in front and behind you is an every day occurrence if you choose or are forced to park on the street. The solution is the 'Bumper Badger' or 'Bumper Bully', nearly everybody has a variation of this now. I can't wait to motor, and park, in Seattle when we move!

I can posit a couple of guesses: NY/SC labor cost differential coupled with the relative ease of trucking out of South Carolina.

They may have already earned them and just been enjoying driving too much to post!
Oh if only you were correct. You've obviously never driven/parked in New York because parking in such close proximity to the vehicles in front and behind you is an every day occurrence if you choose or are forced to park on the street. The solution is the 'Bumper Badger' or 'Bumper Bully', nearly everybody has a variation of this now. I can't wait to motor, and park, in Seattle when we move!

But for good reason.... I SOLD MY CAR- well, it's almost sold.... 11 AM Saturday actually, to a nice girl who is working and going to school. I am happy- or will be when the cash is in the bank to go toward le MINI! As of Saturday, I'll be borrowing my dad's Dakota for X days until I get to motor.
Yay... car selling.... almost sold!
But for good reason.... I SOLD MY CAR- well, it's almost sold.... 11 AM Saturday actually, to a nice girl who is working and going to school. I am happy- or will be when the cash is in the bank to go toward le MINI! As of Saturday, I'll be borrowing my dad's Dakota for X days until I get to motor.

On phone with MA right now...
Said still show at the port since the 20th, although that is from "yesterday's list" and it all depends on "when it is unloaded off the boat" etc... but that he would call down to the port for me to see what they say...
