Ah ok, it's just that I don't have a car at the moment but intend getting personalised plates so I don't have anything to 'transfer' as such.

Yeah, the plate was just transferred from my F150. I hade to keep it on my ins. policy until the MINI came in, but it was only for a week so it was worth it to not have to surrender the plate.

The matching suit/shirt was not intentional. If it had been, I would have worn my BRIGHT yellow shirt to make sure it matched.

Got to VDC on the 14th. Got here yesterday. Check their new car inventory against your VIN. Who's your MA?

Stock # should be the last 8 digits of the VIN

 

If your VIN is there, your car has been received at the dealer! Congrats!

 

i thought that too, however stock # did not equal my VIN..

i just clicked the only MY Cooper S listed on their inventory.. then i compared the VIN and they match...

now what?

Mini of Monrovia uses the last 8 of the VIN, Sterling doesn't, from the details of the link you posted.

If it's on the lot, someone screwed up royal. but it doesn't have any of the JCW you have listed. I'd give them a call in the morning and ask what's up. In fact, if you have your MA's cell # like i do, call him now and make sure it doesn't get sold or something disastrous like that.

Ive been bugging my MA all day every day this week and he copy/pastes the results from his search still showing it at the VDC..

i really just think they key in the info ahead of time..

MINIspud, bet you a quarter your car is there. Probably got there today. My MA told me Tuesday that my car was on a truck, then this morning, it shows up on their inventory.

 

hmm... well all week jeff kept saying the site wasnt updating to show that it had been put on a truck..

I will find out tomorrow..

[Greg] Nope I am not a photographer, I do have a BA in Graphic Design with a concentration in photography, but it's more of a hobby than anything else. Those were just some quick shots that I took that I spent about 2 seconds shooting haha. I am glad you enjoyed them though.
