Infact, I have a proposal to make to Euseys and all the other Week 23ers. I petition the jury to award OWG a Week 23 badge gratis for all the dedication and hard work put into maintaining everyone's statuses and wing deliveries. I'm completely willing to tag on the extra cents here or there for the badge along with everyone else to get one over to OWG. What say you?

I haven't gotten any but the dog protection from Pooch Style. We got the boot filler/dog bed. She decided that riding in cargo (i.e. seats down) was for dogs!! She is a POODLE and POODLES ride in the back seats of MINIS!!
Oh well the dog bed works for her when we travel!

Stubby antenna may be forthcoming. I need to get Maggy in to change that break in oil! We just passed our 2000 mile mark! This car is way too much fun to drive!

 

Count me in zonedguy, the hard work of keeping track even upon returning from vacation! OWG deserves a bagde gratis! I can throw in some extra!

MiNiMaMa, I just received my Pooch Style back seat cover tonight when I got home... Looks very nice, very well put together. I will put it in this weekend as soon as i go out and get the harness... will put my princess Thistle in and take photos and try it out!

 

I let my wife drive the Mini for the first time tonight. I don't think she gets it. She just thinks of it as a car.

 

i got a dirty look from some lady in an suv tonight because i floored it and took it up to 61MPH oooo noooo, i'm such a hoodlum. damn kids.

Yay for everyone finally getting delivery of their MINIs in the next couple days. You'll love it, fulfilled at last!

You said it my friend! What a wait. My MA informed me that the car was 20 days late going through inspection at the VDC. Gonna do a detailed "once over" before we leave the lot. Got insurance last night too. I am ready to go.

I have to drive from SC to Eastern Tennesse next week. I think a trip through Deals Gap may be in order on the way back!

Badge info updates:

Yes, I've been carefully keeping track on the post-it on my monitor of who has asked for a badge.

It looks exactly as Tweecky linked, without the list of all the names at the bottom, we all decided it was too crowded with the list of names (I believe. It was designed by ZonedGuy, and he submitted it to our contact at Aesthetic Creations.

The guy at Aesthetic Creations promises they will be ready as soon as he can- but he has work ahead of our badges. (How dare he put anything in front of week 23'ers-- doesnt he know how OCD we are?!)

He quoted me $5 a piece. I dont know how he'd prefer to do it-- have us each "checkout" at aesthetic creations, or send them all to me, (FPO AE) and I will distro. them via US post, and you can all pay me back via Paypal.

Since the badges aren't ready yet, its not time to talk about the money part. I wish we all lived in the same town!!!

I hope he does them quickly, the list is already kinda slowing down and I dont want to lose touch with anyone who wanted one from the very beginning.

Will email him again today...And, when I get home to my monitor with the post-it, I'll update our elist with my list of names who want one.

I got some new accessories last night! YAY I got the rear view mirror cap, Union jack of course. I got license plate screw covers, Union Jack, again... and I got a stubby antenna, which is WAY smaller then I thought it was going to be... I also have Union Jack valve stem covers on back order, so hopefully I will have those soon....

I also am going to have the roof graphic re done.... it's being taken off tonight...
