I bet most or all of you are at the http://aisfree.aislive.com site real-time tracking of Isolde. If not, do it now. It is way back in the Zeebrugge, Belgium port right now. This is so cool!

Yay! Otto is loaded. I can't find the ship on the map, but to know that Clubby is on board is a comfort. Godspeed and a safe, uneventful voyage for all souls onboard.
Not sure if this will work, but it looks like the ISOLDE is underway already since last night I "watched" her head into port and today she is back out with my MCS onboard.
This link is what I used to track her in port though she is almost out of site:

Well, drat, I can't locate it anymore. When I use the call sign to track it (via the weather reporting thing) it hasn't been updated since Jan 16th up in Washington State. I won't be able to watch the dots cross the pond. If someone figures it out, please let me know.
Otherwise I'll be checking the Panama Canal webcams around 2/2 at 05:00 since in my MINI crazy-ness I've now seen a photo of the ISOLDE so I know what it looks like and can continue to hone my stalking abilities. LOL

I'm still tracking on aislive.com. It is under Southwest approach. As of 9:00 PM mountain time on 01-21-2008 it is directly between Salcombe, UK and Gearnsey Island with a mess of other ships. Man-oh-man, it has such a long way to go!
So my fiance made a map last night to track the Isolde on it's voyage to the states. It isn't tracking it's *exact* position at any given moment, just averaging out to where it might be given the date of arrival to Port Hueneme.
He did it for us, just for fun, but I thought you guys might dig it too.
Where's the MINI?

Say thanks to your fiance for the work!
Minichelle, That is great! Thanks for sharing as it will help keep my MINI-obsession under control. I was starting to go through withdrawls because I couldn't track the ISOLDE through that sailwx website since it doesn't look like they've posted a postion since November (sniff, sniff).
So a big THANK YOU to your fiance for creating that.
