thanks, i found it on a bmw forum....apparently we're traveling with a bunch of the new 1 series that loaded at bremerhaven. i just noted that our launch got pushed back to today.....i guess that's why she's still in the channel. arrival time in newark is still the same though!

 

I had just saw that myself, might have been a mistake since the 23rd is still the time into NY

Yahoo! The Faust is a Swedish ship! Meatballs, massages, Ingmar Berman films, ABBA, and IKEA! Plus shuffleboard and other cruise activities! Hopefully the North Atlantic will provide reasonably calm seas and bring us to port soon so we can stop all this shameless anthropomorphizing.

 

Watching these ships cross on sailwx is pretty interesting. Their weather reports every 6 hours show the rigors of the atlantic. The integrity has seen near 20' seas and is now moving in close to the canadian maritimes - must be trying to avoid weather out on the grand banks.

 

Y'all don't mind if I pull up a chair and wait with ya, k?

Our 5th MINI is a week 6 car that was built on the 9th. The wait is still fun!

vesseltracker has the faust entering the channel....but no longer is able to track the elektra. i'm guessing the info i got on sailwx is wrong....better be wrong, or our mini's are headed for anarctica!! and at an alarming speed since they were in the channel yeasterday!! (sorry, i'm too tech inept to paste image of the sailwx route)

 

good news, the boys at sailwx misplaced a "-". we're here: N 49 x 54' by W 10 x 18' not in anarctica!

Yeh , most K-LINE ships do not report weather . My vin did not show up either . Sitting on dock since 2/7 . My MA finally told me today it sailed on 2/10 and due in Charleston 2/18 .
