My car was completed on the 4th but it hasn't shown up on the WW tracking site yet. The automated phone thing has been saying the "released to a carrier" line for a few days now. Should I be set up for a ship or at least be on the tracking site by now? I'm on the west coast.

Ours was completed on the 3rd and made it to the dock on the 5th - but missed the Asian Emperor departure. We are now scheduled for the Turandot which departs on Monday the 11th.

Go to this link: http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTracking/cargoTrack.do

Click on "Auto Cargo". Enter your VIN number in the "Cargo ID" box and click the "Track" button. You will see the "Cargo Status History". Copy the "Booking Number" and click on "Track By / Booking Number". Paste your booking number in the "Booking Number" box and click the "Track" button. Find your VIN number in the list. This will give your car's status at the dock - booked, received at terminal or loaded on ship. Right now it is likely to be only "received at terminal".

The Turandot is scheduled to arrive in Southampton on Monday the 11th. On Monday keep checking the status of your car to see if it has been loaded. If the ship departs and your car does not show as loaded, then it has been left behind for the next ship heading to the West Coast on the 18th.

Good Luck! I hope you can join us on the Turandot!

...I don't even get that far. All I get after entering my VIN is "No tracking information is available for the Cargo ID you entered".

No tracking info for me either. Funny how our songs have gone:

2003-2007 "Wishin' and Hopin"
01/24/08 on order, "Beyond the Sea"
02/07/08 waiting for transport "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay"
02/08/08 "Our Day Will Come"

Hang in there japtor and Holly.

No tracking info here either. Even if they process cargo 24/7, the web status may update much less frequently.

Called today and it's now saying it's on the port. Still not on the WW tracking site yet but I figure it's going to be there soon.

My Mini was supposedly finished on the 7th, and the AskMini automated line says it has now been released to a carrier and awaits transportation to the Port. I am on the East Coast, and when I asked my MA on Friday, he said to expect 4 weeks from the time the car was finished in production to the time I could pick it up. That seems a little long to me. Hoping to get it by the end of this month. We will see.

That's awful fast, and actually a little faster than I want as my old lease does not expire until middle of April. Does anyone know how long the car might sit waiting for a boat, how long the boat trip is to NY, and how long at the port in NY before getting to the dealer?
weren't you the one who said it was comming too fast!?
next nyc bound are elektra 2/14 arriving 2/23, then faust 2/16 arriving 2/24. but who cares?

rrcaniglia , Sailwx reported call letters as ZCBD4 , but that is listed for another ship . Guess it is a goof on their part . Voyage # is EB805-COG due in GA. on the 21st .

Thanks, ChiliRedr56. For some reason Courage is a stealth ship except for it's arrival schedule (19th to Charleston, SC for me).

I found that it is a re-christened ship--previously named Aida. Am hoping for a happier ending

Just checked sailing data on WWL, again. And again, delayed debarkation. Original date 18 Feb. After two delays, now 20 Feb. So, don't be surprised if things slip.

Well, folks, what will be will be. The latest straw is that I have to travel on business 26-29 Feb, so I expect I won't pick up the car until the 1st of March. I wonder if I can make a little Hertz rental feel like a MINI? Just a bit?? And getting the car 1 March--what a great way to start Spring. (This will always be the day I start Spring.)

although I said it was coming faster than I really wanted it; I am getting caught up in tracking it, and if it will be ready earlier, I would certainly take it.

I'm on the east coast as well. My dealer is in South Florida. Mine was finished on 1/30 and it's supposed to be at the dealer on 2/21. Time from completion to pickup will be just over 3 weeks. I have an alarm system that'll be getting installed at the VDC, so if you don't have any port-installed options, your wait might be shorter.

I'm week 6 and "The Dude" was finished on Friday and hasn't been scheduled for transport yet. I'm in the midwest. Anyone know what port those cars come into?

I believe it is South Carolina. I'm in Texas and I think that'll be our port too. We were completed on Thursday (02/07), sitting on the dock, and now are getting anxious about hearing some shipping info. Maybe some good news today!

Maybe we'll get on the same ship. My dealership is in Kansas City.

Looks like mine *finally* finished (M)

production on Saturday! It's about time!

So I guess it'll be on its way to the port soon, then coming home to me!
