Well, I've been upgraded to "Awaiting Transport", but show no data on the WW site. Woohoo.... Progress!

 

Loaded onto todays Turandot shipment, now only 3 more weeks...then probably another week cause I ordered the aero kit.

 

Sitting at the port since 2/7 . No ship yet .

 

I made it on the Turandot even though it only left the factory last Friday. Juat a little over 3 weeks to go now.

I read your posts about making Turandot and checked my own status. It was listed as in body shop last Thursday, but today up to awaiting transport. Figuring I had about another week to go, I went to the WW site, and my Mini shows up as being loaded on the Turandot too!

 

my grille badges arrived today. i am also "awaiting transport" with no info showing up on the ww site. elektra is still listed as departing 2/14 arriving nyc 2/23, the faust is now scheduled to depart 2/17 arriving 2/25. meanwhile, trying to look into financing options and hold off on those suspention mods. ommmmmmmmmmmmmm.

 

i just finished watching "the italian job" with my son. very cool shots of an original mini tearing up center city philly, and newer minis tearing up l.a. it's really gonna be hard to hold off on those mods now! my advise for the rest of you is to rent it during the pond crossing. getting it too soon is only gonna make you want it sooner!

 

For anyone wondering where Courage is, SailWx shows it was at 42N 32W as of noon 10 Feb. History shows this was its first report since leaving Southampton 6 Feb.

Anywho the vessel info is Elektra (how cool of a ship name is that) - should sail tomorrow and arrive in NY on the 23rd - hopefully at my dealership 3/1?

We are still struggling on naming the car - a BRG convertible S, JCW, Sidewalk.

This is the second time ordering this car as the first one ran into troubles at the port that got really confusing. My dealership said it was the EPA having issues with the car -- I certainly hope that's all resolved now !

My kids have been [FONT='Times New Roman']anxiously[/FONT] awaiting our new car (since August!!) I hope this go around is smooth - I am sure my dealership (princeton Mini), which has been a pleasure to work with, will move the car along rapidly once they get it.

 

I am booked on the Elektra as well. Now we have to see if we actually make it onto the boat. I've got my fingers and toes crossed.....

 

If we miss the boat we would be on the next one....probably just a 2-3 day delay - no biggie. I placed my order in August.....6 months I have been waiting a few days won't kill me ! LOL

Actually, I am only 50% convinced that I will receive this car - how sad is that? I sent my dealership and email asking about the factory JCW and the EPA -- I will only get excited if I learn that they are letting them into the country now. I should hear back today.....we'll see.

 

YIPPEE!! I've finally moved to "Awaiting Transport" on the Owner's Lounge!!! One step closer to my motoring days!!

Congrats!! I've been awaiting transport all week. I wish they'd schedule something already...I call about 4 or 5 times a day...maybe 6 or 7

 

I'm also on the Elektra! Ooh, I'm getting excited!

 

It's been too quiet since the 7th when we were sent to the dock. Hopefully some good news today!

 

I just got booked on the Elektra as of Feb 11th.
When is the ship suppose to leave?
