thanks to hfx.nc i can now use aislive to see the north american coast....but i don't see the elektra! not showing up in sailwx either??? i hope i don't live to regret that iceberg comment!

got her! off the long island coast (10:25 pm) on aislive. should be in newark fairly early in the am i'd imagine. i feel like i just spotted the bismark!

Oxtox, HFS.NX and CG1 - No matter what I do, I cannot get AIS to let me in to see the NY ports, so I will have to rely on you to let me know what is going on the Elektra. Any updates would be appreciated.

My MA says he has 12 vehicles on the Elektra and they are being sent to the dealer tomorrow.

 

i was gonna take tonight off mingel, but you got me this time! are you picking up at princeton as well? my ma is going on vacation saturday. i would like to pick up the car from him, but don't think i can wait another week for him to come back. i know he's trying for friday real hard.

 

Oxtox - Nah - I am on Long Island, Hassel Mini. Not even sure whether I am going to buy or lease yet, and as I said originally, my old car doesn't even come off lease until mid-April. I am trying to get that car taken back a month early so I am only paying one month of duplicate payments. My MA is really pressuring me to complete the transaction by the end of the month, but quite frankly, I would rather wait until first weekend in March.

I hope you enjoy your BRG Sidewalk. I looked at that color/package combination for a long, long time, but then decided to keep the cost down a little. Its my first Mini and my first convertible, so want to make sure I really love it before I splurged for the bigger bucks.

Plaz had his JCW at the port for 5 days so I figure my MA will not see my car until this weekend....after which they need to install the additions - which I hope they will expedite given the past history waiting on this car.

 

Will do... but it will probably have to wait until the weekend to get anything decent (in daylight).

I'm a happy camper so far, though!

 

Anyone have any updates on the Faust? Last update I see was over 18 hours ago.

 

The AISLive map showed the Faust at the Port of Newark since this afternoon. It's still there. Maybe our cars have been unloaded.

Is the Faust headed tp South Carolina yet? The WW site's voyage details now list it's arrival at Charleston on March 1st (01/03/2008) and its departure at 26/02/08??? Or am I reading it wrong? The NY docking still seems correct arriving on the 26th and departing on the 27th. Hmm...
