This morning, the Faust still appears to be at Port Newark.

 

I know they had some pretty bad weather in the NE, so that might have delayed unloading the cars.

i had held off on mentioning the mini's name due to a bizarre superstition that if i say it "something bad" would happen....like it would never get here! i'm naming her fiona.


secondly, i'm happy for you faustians that my prediction of a late arrival was wrong. you are all lucky bastards!! lastly, i got a call from my ma today who said that i MIGHT be able to take delivery friday!!!!

Mine is heading for Charleston.
Hope it dosn't hang arount the VDC very long.
I was self calculating that I might get mine March 6th or 7th since the dealed has to send it to a Window tinting shop.

I asked on the Miniusa website and they Emailed me an Owners Manual in pdf format for the "2008 Mini R55-R56 Without Nav system"
I can send it to whom ever wants a copy.

 

yo, yo, yo boyz!!! just off the phone with the ma who tells me scheduled delivery is 2:00 PM tomorrow!!!! faster than expected! btw, ol still has me in route. my ma is going on vacation saturday, delivering 4 cars tomorrow (seems like nothing motivates an ma like a split comission)....anyone else gonna be at princeton tomorrow?

 

My MA at Keeler said Monday is my day.

Great News. I'm also getting my Clubman On Saturday at Otto's. Two months to the day I ordered it. It was a tough 2 months of waiting.:t humbsup: See you all on the motorway.

The WW site is showing conflicting info, but when I searched by Ports, it does show charleston for Mar 1st. and the Website for the port of Charleston http://www.port-of-charleston.com/Vessel_schedule.asp confirms this.

Thanks for the info...even though it's not good news. I sure hope it's not delayed beyond Mar 1. I'm selling my current car next Friday and I'll be renting a car from then until I pick up my MINI.

I grew up in St. Louis. Saw Jethro Tull in about '72 at the old Kiel Auditorium. I guess that's what your name refers to.

And yeah, thanks for the info. My MCS is also on the Faust. It should be to pick up next week.

Yes, Jethro Tull is my favorite band. Sady, they've been somewhat inactive as far as new music is concerned...though they have been touring a lot in recent years.

Man that is extreamly cool that the VDC can pass it thru to the Dealer so quick.
