New prospective Clubman S owner in hurrr

I've always wanted a Mini and the stars seem to be lining up in my favor. Because of the family status, a Clubman S would be in my best interest. My local dealer tells me they won't have any until Feb, BUT does anyone have any feedback or experience with them? My current cars are a 01 Mazda Miata, 99 Subaru Legacy L wagon, and 03 EVO VIII(335awhp). My prior performance cars have all been 4th gen F-body's(T/A's) and I'm a reformed drag racer.

from what the website says (www.miniusa.com) it has the same great handling and the speed is relatively the same. the only thing that i dislike about it is the barnhill doors but i guess thats just something ill have to get used 2. the only problem is that if you wanna mod your clubman up it might take a while becuase it is a new car.

I'm not to worried about modding the Mini yet, besides, it'd be nice to have 1 or the cars under warranty. Another thing I heard(tonight actually), my cousin's girlfriend had said that the Mini's back seat is not child car seat friendly, does anyone know if this is true?

Here's the car seat thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...hlight=carseat

Back seat access is actually pretty easy in comparison with the other two door cars I've had. With the Clubman you'd have the bonus of the third door.

You can browse at the Clubman thread on Mini 2. The Clubman has made its appearance in Britain.
