My first post... Can't stand lurking any more... my pw mcsc was on the Boheme, too. It's a straight shoot to Phoenix. Can't be more than a few days away, eh?

 

Depends on long the VDC takes, if you had add ons that need to be installed at the VDC, and then transit time. Lately seems people in your area have received there Mini with in 7 - 10 days. But that is just my observation lately, so don't quote me. Best bet is to call your MA he "should" have a good estimate.

 

The Wallenius site shows that the Boheme has left Hueneme. I just hope they got my MINI off before they left.
MA says this weekend is possible; next Monday worst case.

 

Congrats to all aboard the Boheme for making it back on to dry land. If you check your Vin # on the WW site, you should see a time of "discharged", could be one time stamp for all Minis.

 

Man! Im hoping to get it this weekend, and rather not on monday, it'll be more exciting if it came on a fri or sat and know that we have all week to drive the car.

 

My MA is awaiting release of the Mini to the truck. Will be here sometimes this week.

 

How many of you Nor cal owners think its going to come in this week? I have to call the dealer on thursday to see if it'll be here on sat.

 

First post, my MCS was also on the Boheme.
Just talked to my MA and they said I should have the car by the end of the week down at South Bay Mini.
The WW site did not say my car got off the ship though... I hope it updates soon.

 

Boheme updated that it left port ~ woo! Just a few more steps (and days and days) till we take delivery!

 

This from my MA on 8.29...
"It looks like your MINI will be in Oxnard Sept 9 and it will be there a couple of days, it maybe be here by the 12th. I’ll let you know when it physically gets here."
She estimated 3 days from Oxnard to Phoenix... Sounds ambitious to me. I don't want to sound too anxious —ha!— so I'll wait till tomorrow to call.

 

Most MA's allow more of a buffer for getting thru the VDC and transport time. Looks like your MA is saying 3 days to be processed thru the VDC, scheduled on a transport truck, loaded and trucked to your dealer.............that is a bit "ambitious" for sure. Hope she is correct, but be prepared for more like 6 - 10 days to be safe.

 

What you say sounds right to me. If it showed up tomorrow I wouldn't be able to get her anyway. Let's see who get's the first call...

 

The WW site has finally updated, shows all Minis discharged from Boheme at 4:00 pm 9/10.

 

"Discharged" is a good thing, right? Usually when I see "ship" and "discharge" together I think Bilge.

 

Shows that Minis actually are on land and any that may have been hiding are no longer onboard for a distant port.

 

That's good news!
My wife let me know she expected me to go to the Boheme's next port(s) to collect our MINI if needed. Long Beach wouldn't have been too far, but Yokohama would have been tough.

 

I was thinking maybe I could throw a net out at about Coos Bay to snag it as they passed... I'm trying to hold out and give my MA a chance to serve the Tagus group b4 I start my email campaign for a delivery date. We'll see...

 

How big would the Zodiac have to be to carry a MINI? Hmmm...

Who's your MA? You went thru Rasmussen, right? I'm working with Dan, and he's already answered my barage of questions ...not that I have a set delivery date yet.

Yes I did - I ordered through Jarid. My first call was to Dan but he was on vacation for 2 weeks when we were able to come up for the test drive... seems like a helpful guy! I'm probably going to break down soon ... I need to start clearing our my schedule for that first road trip back home. Let see - Portland to the coast to Crescent City to Crater Lake to Diamond Lake to Roseburg - yeah that would get me home!

 

No firm delivery date as yet. MA says it should arrive at Dealer in time for weekend delivery.

I think I heard they have a high grade of gas in Sisters - you might have to go by and check it out on your way home I hope you get your date soon!!
